Malaysia market too small only 27 million population compared to 1 billion in India and 100 million in Philippines. They target bigger markets first.

QUOTE(djlah @ Sep 16 2014, 12:38 PM) I will, but this time I don't want to be early adopter anymore. I wait till price drop first I'm gonna be an early adopter this time. Always so late by 3 months into Nexus party every year.Of course after it is available in Malaysia la be it AP or ORI. I am not importing by myself, too much hassle. QUOTE(NightFelix @ Sep 16 2014, 01:58 PM) I suppose to get a cheap refurbished Nexus 7 from US/Canada ( mostly dont ship here ) but kept holding due to rumor/leak news on Nexus 9 tablet. Not sure if I want a 8.9" tablet as I quite like the 7" form factor, had to wait and see official launch of it then only can decide ( price, size ) |

Looking at the prices of android phones and the specs now, we may have overpaid for N5s considering its also ap set. I await the day Google officially sells nexus here *sigh*Of course after it is available in Malaysia la be it AP or ORI. I am not importing by myself, too much hassle. |

Do you guys have the GPS issue?
My phone on 4.4.4 start to have GPS issue since a month ago, have been working fine since I got the phone end of last year until a month ago. Now its very slow to get a fix, and once get a fix, easy to loose it. Its quite easy for me to confirm that its a hardware issue as my wife's n5 from the same order do not have this issue. Any of you tried this? I just ordered the ipod opener tool from ebay. |

I don't mind shelling out some extra money to get hold of one. But, normally I'll wait for 3/4th production batches before buying it. Just to avoid early batch production issues. |

So far, I havent paid over 1.5K for phone. Nexus S ( forgot ), GNex ( 1.2K ), N4 ( 1.5K ), N5 ( RM1450 ). Given Nexuses had been consistent USD350 ( N4/N5 ).Hopefully I'm able to hold the same below 1.5K limit, but I wouldnt hesitate to ditch out USD400 or even USD450 for even superb spec and build quality. |
