QUOTE(k!nex @ Jul 26 2014, 05:21 PM) Frm wat I noe, Lancer use KYB gas type shocks. Inspira is oil type APM shocks. Dunno how will end up if mix and match inspira spring with Lancer shocks. Ride height will be different I supposed at least. QUOTE(stewPik @ Jul 26 2014, 06:13 PM) from where u know ??? both inspira and lancer also KYB shocks........different in the setup, for spring yes lancer and inspira is different...and only inspira spring from APM .......if i remember correctly 2ndly, all shocks are OIL base .....different is if they got add gas to replace the air inside......now a days almost all OEM is GAS/Oil base shocks............ sekian terima kasih QUOTE(nzh0920 @ Jul 26 2014, 06:20 PM) Er. Sorry to be blunt, there is no 'gas' type absorber. Hydraulic (shocks) required fork oil/fluid to work. No fluid means no damping no rebound. May b that some shocks are gas pressurized , so being called gas absorber. QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Jul 28 2014, 05:29 PM) Thanks all for the information, I will stay with original proton absorber |

As up-to-date of my performance upgrade, I would suggest the following path:
Step 1: Remap ECU (Find K3, don't find the man who sent you to ultra world) Step 1 will let you feel the different immediately Step 2: Change a better extractor or exhausts main fold or banana. Tonnka (R3) or Super circuit or Turbo S will make the different again, don't go cheap one, 2nd hand maybe better than cheap one Step 3: Cat-con replace / remove and muffler upgrade Find a trusted one to upgrade. After above 3 step, you should drive happier than before Suggest upgrade : ASC (For your safety) KN air filter (No performance part but save your air filter cost) As of above setup, meter easy reach 200 / GPS 190 on PLUS |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Jul 29 2014, 04:20 AM) if you're replacing high flow cat (not cheap), sure. Is just the matter you want to reach 200kph or your don't want to reach 200kph and how much time we need to reach 200kph. Of course no need all the time, but when needed, just do it removing? for minimal improvement that you may or may not even use/need, please consider the environment. and our cat is already pretty enough in rainbow colors as per my picture here: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « why would you replace something so pretty anyways? and heck, i didnt even have the stuff you listed aside KNN which you mention is not performance part also... reaching over 200kph isn't that difficult. remember the video i recorded? that was on stock mapping. downhill incline sure, but do you really need 200kph all the time? something to think about. by the way, I replacing the cat |
