Hey guys my note 2 started crashing non-stop since this morning. Android version is still 4.1.2 as i rooted it and never bother to update it.

The problem is that every single app in the phone just crashed on me whenever i try to access them. I can only go into settings and reboot the phone. After rebooting the problem persists.

Have try going into cwm recovery and wipe cache and dalvik cache but problem still persists.

I was thinking of updating it to 4.4.2 to see whether the problem still exists or not. So just want to ask if i update the phone manually through pc odin, does I keep my root or not? and also will I lose my data while updating? (Asking this since I cant backup my stuff as Titanium Backup is also crashing)

thx for the reply. I dnt mind tripping Knox as my phone is out of warranty since last year.

Also if i update manually through pc odin does it erase all my data?

maybe can use the phone to detect if you're getting too much sunlight and might be at the risk of getting skin cancer?!? :S

anyway, if they need to put in sensors, i prefer a thermometer and a geiger counter...

thermometer -- good if you have kids and need to check their temp -- something like those infra-red forehead thermometers.

All sifu, my KNOX was uninstall automatically after i failed to login, password somehow got problem since the latest firmware update. Call samsung SC, they ask me to send in for service, but definitely will take several days.

Is there a way we can reinstall the KNOX? i seem can't find any info on how to reinstall the samsung KNOX anywhere...
