hello note 2 user...mine accidentally update to 4.2.2 from jellybean i guess...now the battery drain out so fast...i dun know y...its happened since the update..tried to send shop already..they said thy cant downgrade the os...upgrde can lor...need to send to samsung ori dealer..but to far...so anyone got same case like me..anyone can show how to solve?..tried factory reset,but cannot since the update overwrite the old one os..please share the solutionif u know...tq in advanced...

You must be from the old batch and out of warranty.  If so,  you have to root it and try to downgrade the rom via Mobile Odin. 4.2.2 still doesn't have the knox bootloader so you should be able to downgrade the rom.

You could run it via MHL and use the vol up and down buttons for control. At least I think it should work that way

I just updated my wife SGN2 via OTA, the file size was about 79xmb... And I thought it is suppose to be 4.4.2 kk.

But turn out it was JB 4.3...

But the worst is the Status become "Custom" after the OTA update, and now I can't receive any OTA updates anymore due to the status has been changed.

I checked in Odin mode, Knox still remain at 0. Check root access with Root Checker, "not rooted"...

So, can I download the 4.4.2 KK MY rom from sammobile.com and the flash it using Odin 3.0.9? Will the status become "Official" again?

I feel annoyed since I updated via OTA, how was it possible that the Status changed to Custom?

A bit regretted cause KK restricted external sd card usage. What kind of policy is this whereby we can't even store files in the external memory card??? Then whats the point of having it in the 1st place???

The Note 2 usb port is on a small daughterboard. Should be easy to replace. I asked about a replacement port for the S3, was quoted RM80 for a resolder. It might be cheaper for the Note 2.

Mines I don't know. You need places with phone repair statiosn or parts. LYP is likely your best bet.

Anyway, just walk in Samsung and they replace it in front of you. My friend replaced his for RM120 IIRC.
