Besides the number of hours of sleep, you need to look at your diet and exercise regime too.

I'm not sure about this. How about your food intake? Exercise more.

I dunno whether u might find this interesting or not but..
QUOTE if you get only 6.5 or 7 hours of sleep a night, you are probably sleeping enough You can read more about the research here. IMO it's not the amount of sleep, it's the sleep quality itself. For me, a good mattress & and comfy pillows always do the trick. And oh i usually sleep for about 7 hours or so. Good luck with yours! |

i read some article...the reason we feel sleepy especially during working hour/school is because our body temp has decreased...so if u go out do some exercise and increase the body temp, might not feel sleepy 1 ... but i try before...no use for me

Depends on the time as well,if you sleep at 3 in the morning it wont do you no good if you wake up at 11, try sleeping earlier say 10 or 11. And drink lots of fluid and stay out of sleeping in the evenings, afternoon naps refreshens you.

slow metabolism can cause one to need more sleep. Drink warm water to temporarily increase metabolism and instantly get fresh.

QUOTE(Joey-kun @ Aug 16 2006, 10:19 PM) slow metabolism can cause one to need more sleep. Drink warm water to temporarily increase metabolism and instantly get fresh. Water should be drank regularly by everyone. The amount of people who actually drink enough water everyday (especially for hot Malaysia) are so few as compared to everyone we see. This post has been edited by sniper msia: Aug 18 2006, 05:41 PM |

warm water helps to boost metabolism temporarily, and doing so causes you to be awake. Replaces coffee.
Also, do some jogging. It helps overcome the tiredness. |
