Wanna ask you guys, the lowest gauge of khantal i have now is 28gauge. Where can i find even lower gauge?

Or how you guys build sub ohm coils? what gauge do you guys use?

-ArChAng3L- bagnet 26awg but dont think u can find it nowadays..but u can try twisting your khantal(works well with 30awg)

There is even 20 & 22 AWG.

Before you go sub-ohm understand the safety aspects of it first. The lower the resistance the more current it needs, each battery has an amp limit that you should never exceed. Also the lower the wire gauge, the less resistance it provides. Conclusion = dont use shit tier batteries when you vape.

Eg. 8 wraps of 26AWG coil will be ~0.8ohms, while 8 wraps of 28AWG coil will be ~1.2ohms.

Bastem = 24AWG & 27AWG are available
Alienwire = From 26 to 32 AWG

I personally prefer the 26 (Alienwire) and 27 (Bastem). But when it comes to longevity and quality, Temco wires wins hands down, i only tried their 28AWG before, looking for 26 & 27 now.

Hence I don't even bother. Plus the fact that a full Awan Nano setup drinks juice like only god knows...

but if you understand the risk and take the necessary steps, its totally worth it, i just simply get no kick in using RBAs, i like them clouds.

Well, I DO like clouds myself... but I like battery life and sane juice consumption too.

That said, I'm already kinda self scamming now with my Taifun and cotton wicks vs my old Vmod setup - I used to finish one 10ml bottle in 1.5-2 weeks, now I go through my juice stocks 100% faster lol.

Oh well. At least replacing cotton wicks weekly and rolling microcoils is a whole lot more cost effective vs buying them overpriced vmod atomiser carts - which only really lasts 2-3 weeks each if you get lucky and get one that works 100% out of the box. Sure, you can boil them and stuff, but they don't really last that long in the end anyway.

Unfortunately, I DO have to buy more juice now. Oh well.

Still, sometimes I miss my tiny old midget smoke machine. Convenience-wise the Vmod is really hard to beat for it's diminutive size.

I have 24 gauge. and I also have 2x 28 gauge, twisted.

as for subohm, my setup on a pinoy-made vertex RDA:
4 wraps twisted 2x28 gauge each side, I think gives me 0.4ohm for a macro coil (small screwdrive-sized hole)



IMO, the faster it can glow, the better. doesn't really matter how many ohms it is (as long as it's safe).

I'm assuming clone here, you can try to search for malaysian vaping community pages in facebook, tons of sellers there. Else i would highly suggest visiting vape shops so you could test the mods on site.
