Do u got any software that can save sms from e398 to pc..then after flashing send them back?I want to flash for my fren but he want to store 70++ inbox lol......My inbox is always empty and the maximum point is 8-10 onli....hahaha

you should try PST. Can backup your sms, phone number also.. but i dunno how to use this item.. I tried it before but it's not work.. lol

I use the file that sanosizo gave me...havent try yet..I meant solve the software problem and ready to mod...

if u use mediaviewer with smsbackup plugin then all the sms u sent will be saved in the memory card. but the trouble is u need to examine all the sms becos they're marked with numbers so u dunno which 1 is from who etc. last time b4 that 'moto data recovery' software is available i used leadergl flexeditor to backup all my sms. its not that easy to use tho but its quite reliable...

I wonder if anyone knows how to get Integral - MP3 Player 1.1.44 to actually play a song. I run it.. click some buttons but i don't know how to play a song with it. ARGH

i've decided that its time 4 me to sell my beloved e398 since there's not much mod 2 do these days apart from changing skins... btw the iphone skin is the best skin ever!

hey guys, need sum advice.. thinkin of buyin ROKR E1, i know its essentially the same as e398, jus d screen diff n a few minor things.
my Q is, is the E1/E398 still the top of its class for 3D surround using its speakers (not headset) at this time or has SE w800/810 n nokia 5300 overtaken it already.

Btw anybody know any reviews/info on Motorola L7i?? its another alternative so hope u guys can help me.. cheers

why u choose E1 rather than E2...E2 is a better phone..

Long time dint enter this thread..... have use my E398 almost 2nhalf years, currently got little bit problem when call on specified hp like nokia, sometime talk in half way u will met sound unclear problem... just like no signal. But when talk with other hp i dun have this problem..... very weird.
My another problem is.... thinking to change to another new hp, but i dunnno which hp i should change it, dunno which hp have better sound stereo speaker than our E398.

is hard to say which phone got better external speaker than E398.. is quite hard to find. haha

but most of the latest music phone not bad lah. just don't compare with e398 side by side.

can i use micro sd instead tf with this phone?

i duno wether to upgrade my mp3 player or my mmc...really tempted by sony walkman dat sum1 is selling at lyn...but upgrading my mmc will be more cheaper...haihs...

Hi. It's a long times I don't visit this forum..
Anyway my E398 just got a big problem. I dunno why it's can't be switch on.. When I pressed the ON key. jz for 1 or 2 sec the keypad light comes up. but after that it's died.. Right now I can't even charge the battery. so sad
