Hello e398 users, one of my fren is reporting that his e398 keeps on restarting itself automatically. Did anyone encountered this before? Please advise...

We tried taking out the sim card/battery and putting it back in. It's still the same. The phone was charged 2 days ago to full bar and was dropped a week ago. Other than that, nothing strange happened...

We turned on the phone, then it will restart itself. The screen will turn white, then after 5 seconds, the screen returns to normal but with a "no line service" message. After the phone got line, it will restart again.

This was with a Digi[016] SIM card, when we put in a Maxis[012] SIM card, the phone works fine. Maybe it's the SIM card problem?

QUOTE(sanosizo @ May 11 2007, 12:46 PM)
may not be a keypad problem but the keypad circuit board inside nid checking, last time i got 1 e398 with that prob... let it dry under a direct sunlight 4 a few hours then problem solved biggrin.gif the problem mostly caused by the moisture trapped inside it, maybe phone dropped into water or something...
