neway... i got a BT heatset from my fren, it came with Motorola V3.... HS820. I tried using it with my e398 but my fon didn detect it... how to use this thing ah? i dun hav any instructions... tried lookin for it but couldn find.

look in the connection menu i think... find something like headset settings, actually i dun really sure becos i never use a bt headset b4

haii!!... just bought 2nd hand E398.wanna get rid of this sluggish stock MP.mean to flash it.but why winXP cant detect my phone?? connected the phone via USB data cable already. while i put the USB into its port..."USB device not recognized" appeared.why this happen?? how to solve it?

u nid 2 install the p2k drivers 1st in order 4 windows 2 detect the phone. just 2 make sure the cable or the connection port on the phone side is working, change the connection mode 2 memory card then plug it back 2 the pc. if it can detect ur memory card as removable disk then no nid 2 worry lah

download p2k drivers from www.e398mod.com

actually how to install the driver? through device manager or it have its own installer???

try using a different usb port. have u tried my suggestion with the memory card mode?

tried already n failed.how to install p2k driver as nothing detected?.

if it failed then u shud try cleaning up the usb port of the phone. normally i just use an old toothbrush 2 clean it from dust then try again...

but i dont think it is the usb port problem...because my thumbdrive working with that same port.in addition i had tried to connect this phone with different PC but still not working.

Dead?i will be back lolz...my bro will change to K750i and i can get back my old E398...first thing to do is flash 42r-for-all firmware lol....wanna try new MP lolz....Dunno i still remember how to do coz too concentrate on my W810i lol...E398 is used to show off quality..W810i is used to show off loudness...

im weird with 1 thing and i cant find the answer from this thread.hope any e398 supporter or proscan help me.

my que: how can i use the radio function?software needed?hardware?where to get?

E398 no have radio function.
btw, can suggest u flash ur E398 firmware.

u nid 2 buy a handsfree with radio function... dunno available in msia or not maybe sgpore got...

thats the prob.written from nighstalker that e398 can play radio if there is a special earphone.but u need the program oso mar,rite?flashing my firmware is nice but i fnd it time consuming.i prefer ori edition..but if it convince me,il let it a try.hehe.yet i gt no idea how to flash it..its a big project4me.
