No wonder when I was grabbing files from a Singapore server I was peaking at 50MB/sec. I thought the line is acting up again but when it is fast ain't complaining.

happens every so often, i been facing slowness fro late afternoon till early morning for the past few days. call CS only always give trace route, we must be ever so free to help them troubleshoot. like broken record same result always will escalate nothing happens goes back normal then comes again.

honestly isn't AC1900 enough? max also is 600 for 2.4ghz and 1300 for 5ghz the extra 1300 is for another 5ghz. unless you have abundance of AC devices using the connection it might be overkill don't you agree.

Hi there, as bro Xefron suggested, the Asus RT-88U rocks especially with Time Fibre!!
Just set mine up this morning and wifi signal is solid throughout.

Speedtest maxxed out at 100mbps over WIFI on 5ghz channel. rclxm9.gif

i must have dud unit or my setup is screwed. even tried asus merlin latest firmware and no joy still. can't max 500mbps only getting around 250mbps or so.

Wahhhh 250mbps is way beyond our ceiling bro so can't help you there unless Time revives the Boost feature innocent.gif

Btw is the wifi on yr device 802.11ac?
Mine was tested on iphone 6 plus

prior to getting this router was able to get close to 300mbps on my 6s+ too. on lan can peak at 480mbps but now only 250mpbs with this new router.
