Ok already sign up for 100mbps and installation was done today. But I'm getting a download speed of 23mbps and 7mbps upload. Why ? TIME router provided is not good enough ? What is the problem here ?

I'm using WiFi between. Haven't tried LAN cable yet.

Thank you

Dear bro

It is a very subjective on wifi , also limited by hardware that received wifi.

Care to elaborate more

I thought I'd share this since it's not obvious to a lot of people. In fact, even I didn't realise it until a friend made me aware of this last week after he inquired about downgrading his package.
Note the bolded and underlined part.

He signed on to the RM179 package six months ago, and wanted to downgrade to the RM149 package

because the new upgraded speed of 100Mbps for the lower plan was more than enough for his needs.

He expected to have his contract renewed/reset to 24 months, but was shocked when he was told that it was 24 months on top of the 18 months he still had left on his current contract, making it 42 months blink.gif. I don't think even Unifi does this for service downgrades.

So, there you go, when picking a Time Fibre Broadband package, be sure of the speed you want and can commit to paying for it for the duration of your contract, because a downgrade can and will be very painful.

Needless to say, my friend was ranting.gif and will not hesitate to look for alternatives when the time comes.

So, what is a good router to replace my existing router (DLINK wireless AC1200 dual band gigabit cloud router) provided by Time for 100mbps ?

In my home everyone is using Wifi but I can't get speed of 100mbps when using Time router.

Let me know what router out there that can give me constant speed of 100mbps. Price of router is not important and ill be happy to purchase any highest end router.

Dear bro

For a moderate good router , you should consider asus Ac rt-68U, It is around RM 1,000 marKet price.

A lot of LYN members is using it , you will never regret with it

Thanks
