![]() http://www.tripadvisor.com.my/Restaurant_R...rict_Perak.html QUOTE “Great service, beautiful set up!” The restaurant is definitely a must visit if you're in lumut. The price might be burn your pockets slightly but if you're in lumut, Perak it certainly is one of the best restaurant/bar around. My favorite there is 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream with baileys. It was really good. Staffs are friendly too. The lady that took my order... QUOTE “Italian in Lumut” Food is very good, pizza the best in town and service very good. Capri may be more expensive than other local restaurants, but not expensive by western standards. |

Lumut is famous for seafood...but be careful of which seafood restaurants you go to. There are plenty of seafood restaurants in the outskirts of Sitiawan, located in the middle of palm oil estates and all that. People would think this is kinda unique and the food must be good if they can open up a restaurant in the middle of nowhere but be warned that those are seafood restaurants with Viet girls to "entertain" you.
What you would really want to try is the "sek pan yu tou" (in cantonese). Best to do it in curry or steamed Teochew style. I prefer the latter. Either that or Google really helps. |

We've since moved out from Lumut, so I don't know if it is still there, but if it is, I'd encourage you to try it. |

QUOTE(justintwj @ Jun 5 2014, 11:03 AM) Hey pipul. Anyone been there or living there? Need some food recommendation. Ah Pek Lee Kou Fu seafood villa seems to be popular with visitors.... try their plain steamed prawn on eggs, no special sauce or ingredients, just taste the freshness of hot steamed prawns and the juice absorbed by the steamed egg below.Going there this weekend. Try James cendol in front of the Indian temple beside the Store, although the stall behind Wisma Ganda is also gaining popularity now. Try kong piang (savoury biscuit with onion and meat filling baked in tandoori style oven), red wine mee suah, fish maw in sweet & sour soup... Lido Restaurant behind the Store will be a good place to try. |

Lolz, pergi pulau percutian di mana said pulau is close to one of the place popular for its sea life, eat ice cream.
If u wanna eat at that italian restaurant, better ask for fresh seafood, not frozen seafood. If u r allergic to sea food, then it is quite a waste. |
