Hi there,

So I made a transaction through online using my debit card. I was debited twice RM350 (RM700). I was shocked when I checked my bank account.

I contacted the merchant and they only received one payment. Of course I asked to cancel the online order and the merchant refunded me. But only 1 of the transaction (RM350) was returned. Another RM350 is still missing.

I called Customer Service and they told me to go through the dispute process blablabla.

All I am concern is that, will I get back my money? cry.gif

Nah don't worry that much. Log a dispute first, I think that 350 is on the merchant side, maybe you should ask him to double check.

I have no doubt on mbb system. Debited twice means debited twice, the other 350 wouldn't disappear into thin air.

Yea, I tried to pay the merchant on their website, and the transaction failed. The merchant even confirmed that it failed, so I tried it again and it failed.

I gave up and bought somewhere else, 1 hour later I saw 2 debits from my account and I was like wtf shocking.gif . I ask the merchant to refund me, they claimed that they only receive one payment and refunded it.

So RM350 still in limbo shakehead.gif

Either complain to Maybank or lodge a complaint with PayPal (buyer protection, etc)

Bro, want to ask.

If i use debit card, the process is like that right?:

Pre-auth debit>pre-auth refund>sale debit

If im right, I only got 1 pre-auth refund (could this be the merchant refund me)

but 2 pre-auth debit.. im confused rclxub.gif
