Still, there is no review of that Dark Mode yet because I read that it is not currently build in Beta 1. Really wish to see it though.

i LOVE to MAC, but seriously, the look of the new OSs'/IOSs', are beginning to suck ! The IOS 7..the look ..not great. Now Yosemite, damn i hate the look of the dock, it's as if its goin primitive again.
COME ON APPLE, give us a better design ! cry.gif

LOL somehow I like the dock.. As all the time prefer 2D dock instead.
However, hope that it's able to change the dock background to be transparent, then it would look even better~

and be frank, the dark mode, hope it implemented well, as i can get rid of obsidian menu bar alrd~ XD

The release should be on September or October.

Sign up for the public Beta if you want early access.

Can't really say, therefore it is recommended to backup your Mac first.

Anyway, expect bugs and issues since it is Beta.

I am doing dual boot on my MBA2013. So far no problem at all and free to switch from one to another. File sharing across both OS is working flawlessly too.

Using Snow Leopard :3 now. just wondering is it better to upgrade to Mavericks and wait for stable update of Yosemite.

Or wait for my email for public beta and straightaway install yosemite.

Will it effect my macbook performance wise? Can i downgrade my os?

I don't think you should install Yosemite (Public Beta) as your main OS. There are bugs and issues as the OS is not yet stable.

Anyway, as long as you backup your Mac using Time Machine, you can easily revert back to previous OS if you are not happy with the new one.
