Call and sms notification ability to make and take call from any platform is amazing.

Continuity will make more people to stick to apple ecosystem.

if been asked to select which partition to install...which one you guys recommend?

p/s: newbie and first time update new OS here....

if you dont have a lot of space just select the main macintoshHD. This will replace maverick with yosemite.

care less about maverick when you have yosemite

I've upgraded to Yosemite and when I open Mac App Store, iWork is not free despite Apple mentioned that they will be giving iWork Suite for free sad.gif

Do you have iWork previously installed?

Nope. But as they mentioned in their keynote, iWork suite should be free.

I think you need to installed the previously version.

These free stuffs only started since marverick, but need to have previously installed iWork. Apple even gave away free Aperture provided you have the old version installed.

Try delete the safari ".plist" file at /Users/YOURUSERNAME/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist
and launch your safari again.

Use  free  AdwareMedic by clicking “Download ” from here

http://www.adwaremedic.com/index.php

Install , open,  and run it by clicking “Scan for Adware” button  to remove adware.
Once done, quit AdwareMedic by clicking AdwareMedic in the menu bar and selecting
    “Quit AdwareMedic”.

Yosemite 10.10.4 update is out last night and is about 1GB in size. Hopefully this update really resolves all the bugs as it stated in is changelog.
