Yes, it is recommended to install Yosemite public beta on a secondary Mac or partition.

Don't use it as your main OS.

Here is a screenshot of Yosemite running in Dark Mode.

Anyway, I still won't use it as my main OS. I will wait for the official release.

BTW, Safari is so freaking slow. It seems like Safari in Mavericks is faster.

anyone faced the trouble when you begun downloading at App Store but it tells you that the activation code has been used? Mine has this issue but I didn't redeem it at all before this.

I don't like how after I open a new tab it doesn't automatically go to the address bar and I can straight away type.

It was like this in Mavericks.

It is pretty sufficient against my workload, and it fares about slightly faster than Mavericks for me.

downloaded and installed mine on a seperate partition just to be safe

yosemite is just beautiful.... the flat design might not be everyone's cup of tea but it certainly look very nice and simple in real

IMO dark mode is best used with a dark wallpaper. a bright wallpaper will defeat its purpose

No setting for that.

Maybe you can change it via third-party apps later.
