hey guys..any recommendation on bkk 2 bedrooms condo/apartment/suites which is not more than RM300/night?

trying my luck on airbnb now~

RCA Route 66 have very less foreigner which u can hardly spot any..whereby khaosan is full with foreigners coz it's a backpacking area...
I went to Soi nana and explore many times...twice with my boyfriend and twice went with few girls...it's not a place for man only...if patpong then yes, may avoid going there... I'm not sure bout tiger show as I have seen it so I don't bother seeing tiger show in bkk though...
Casual also can but if not mistaken men cannot wear slipper....
Khaosan is just a not so long street with bars...u can walk the whole street and see which bar suits u best...it's not clubbing place...clubbing then hv to go RCA ...

I will be travel to Thailand for 1st time on next month,
Planning to arrive Hatyai first  from KL, subsequently to Bangkok and last destination will be ChiangMai.

Question,

1 > What will be the cheapest public transportation to Bangkok from Hatyai and BKK to Chiangmai? I checked through online, might be buses and can I depart at night. It's will save my cost, or any recommendation.

2 > what is the recommended hostel, based on your experience with the affordable price.

3 > Or anything i should be alert or add on, maybe changes?

oh ya, did you manage to go any sky-dining in bangkok? im surveying a few, the meals per person can go up to 2000 baht    and i thought eating in Bkk will be cheap

Haha ya indeed quite many local girls especially weekends ...

I only go those sky bars for drinks only...never go for dinner..bkk dinner I always settle with street foods or local restaurants, cheap and tasty      Sky dining I only did once which was many years back, that time not many sky bars in bkk yet...I went to Baiyoke sky for their buffet...hahaa....the rest of the time just go sky bar to chill and drink 

but baiyoke buffet bad review in tripadvisor recently. maybe i also go for drinks then

for hostel, can survey airbnb. lots of options.

BKK to chiangmai probably best option is Train, 12-14hours journey iirc should be around RM100. bus obviously cheaper, but theft have been common problem. so dont leave valuables in your luggage. also, its easier to sleep in the sleeper trains.

I'm not sure bout baiyoke buffet now but last time when I went memang not good...there are plenty of sky bar or restaurant in bkk city..hehe...

Baiyoke view is nice? Dress code flexible?

Baiyoke dresscode flexible. My recent visit to bkk I got went to baiyoke rooftop bar again, was wearing singlet shorts and sandal...baiyoke is the tallest building so if u go to their rooftop revolving  deck, u can see 360 degrees view of the city..its open air but with high fences...but if not mistaken have to be the hotel guests or go for their buffet only can visit this deck... else can jus visit their bar...but bar not so nice view...

I think vertigo or lebua have awesome view too but of coz the price also very high compare to baiyoke..and they are not as tall as baiyoke...

vertigo and lebua so expensive though..    another nice one is Park Society Rooftop Bar.  so many to chooose    pening

I have never been to park society bar...haha yea lebua  and vertigo very expensive.. I pay the bill also feel sakit hati haha...octave also not bad...and above eleven...
