May I know I'm bringing my 45 litre + 10 backpack to bangkok only. But back that time I would bought lots of things back. Can I use carton box put all things inside and check in as baggage? I bought the 20kg baggage thou. Pls advice and where can I find those carton box? Do I need to seal it? Or just use string tie on the box?
*
Yes, I have seen many checked in carton boxes. Just ask from any of the shops whether they have any extra boxes. Better seal properly using tape or cling wrap.

Hi all, was thinking to use Malindoair to travel to Bangkok this time, anyone got experience flying to bangkok with it? good?
*
i flew with malindoair before...
flight was ok, got in flight entertainment, they give u a cup of water and a packet of cookies.
but my flight was delayed for about 30mins to 1hour, we had waited inside the plane..
their reason was they failed to start the plane's engine... need some ground staff to help..

You will be at risk if they ask you to weight both bag. If it exceed 7kg...they will ask you to check in the other one. Its will cst you a bomb. As for carton box you can go the the postal service counter at thedeparture hall in donmueng airport .

If you think about taking taxi, you can take from anywhere, why need to go to any bts ? If the taxi willing to send you there...Im sure he will charge you both way fee. Its better you go there by van, taxi wont save you lots of time.

If you're are travelling on tight budget..rm60 a day is quite tight. Example an average meal u spend rm5...chicken rice or noodle rm5-6 sightseeing...depend where youre going and. Mode of transportation.

i see, mind sharing how RM60 can be considered tight? Cuz I was thinking max RM15 per meal, that makes about RM30 per day for food and the remaining RM30 for transport and sight seeing.

Different person different way of travelling. If you feel rm60 a day is good enough for you then stick to your plan. Your money your call.

Guys, I'm in bangkok right now and thinking of going to rot fair market. The road to go there seems complicated, anyone familiar with actual routing and what transport to take?

Flying to Bangkok tomorrow morning. Read a few guides in this thread on tourist scams.

In general, are the money changer rates for RM to Baht acceptable or really steep?
