Don't care if it's a women's site guys. Form is still form and it's perfect here.

i watched the videos in youtube, i found that most ppl setup deadlift in perfect form (same as the site above). however, for the consecutive reps, they lifted the weight with much higher hips.

does it matter?

It depends if they want to make it a leg or back exercise. Lower you start, more leg drive.

Btw, at the end of the lift, do you guys just slowly return the barbell to the starting position with controlled movement, and start again
or
just release the weight let it drop, and start again?

until now, I haven't seen anyone doing deadlift in FF, so far I'm teh only guy doing it there, and attracted quite a few curious stares at me tongue.gif

yeap, I usually workout at cosplant or summit
I'll prefer cosplant, they got more space for me to do DL and bend-over row
at Summit, you'll have to do it at the corridor, which will block others way.

So do u guys drop the weight during DL? or descent in a controlled movement?

controlled la.. if u start dropping it, FF management will have to chase u out.. if ur DL-ing around 100-200kg i'd say grab 2 of those yoga mats and fold them up so if ever u plan on dropping the weight, they land on the mat first.. which might provide some kind of cushion la.. but i control my descent..

You're right. Diesel Weasel is a fuktard which is despised in the bodybuilding world. Self professed strongman who has an overblown ego. He's gonna screw up his back one day. Despite well meaning advice from bb.com members, he still insisted his form was right and started flaming us. We flamed him back so bad, he asked the mods to permaban him. Last i heard of him, he's been training under Jesse Marunde (No 2 in the World's Strongman comp), but rumors said Jesse is regretting the decision. Lol.
