I am reading something about rain water harvest in a website. Just feel like sharing some notes from the website.

ADVANTAGES OF RAINWATER
1. Rainwater harvesting systems allow us to achieve a sustainable future with better environment.
2. Non-potable (Non-consumption) water can be obtained through rainwater harvesting system and be use for laundry washing, watering plants, car washing, toilet flushing, etc. Substituting municipal water with rainwater for non-potable usage can decrease half the amount of the municipal water used.
3. Roof rainwater only requires little treat prior to non-potable usage. Rainwater is normally contaminated with bacteria and hence not suitable as drinking water.
4. Reduce the amount of your water bill with the use of rainwater harvesting system.
5. Rainwater harvesting is a good form of water supply during water rationing or interruption of water supply.
6. Reducing the chances of flash flood as rainwater harvesting system reduces the rain water
run-off and thus the system can be formed as a part of the rainwater management scheme.
7. Soft water is obtained through rainwater and is ideal for washing purposes while reducing the amount of detergent used.
8. Rainwater is ideal for plants watering and filling up ponds as it is chlorine free.

THis will be great to be incorporated in the house. Just like today, early morning already raining cats and dogs....

Terrace they said no. I asked them how can be called eco if even this simple rainwater harvesting is not there? SA just smiled, dunno what else to say.

I think cluster and semi-D.... DOnt know what and which system they will use...

They could have priced this into their selling price and people wouldn't complain as it fits into their "eco" model. As it stands, eco is now nothing but a name......... nothing functional.

I could have, but I knew it would have changed nothing. So I felt a little cheated by the name and decided not to buy instead.

SA told me that the lake is to collect all the dirty water.

Yup. Please don't take the literal meaning of the word cheat as what I meant. It's the expression 

Agree with you, everything comes at a price. Just wished they had stuck to the eco concept that they were so excited to sell with.

Not all purchasers already made the application I presume, even for those already made such application, maybe just to few banks only. Now have the chance to compare the package for all the panel banks and can submit the application in one shot...     

SPA signing seems to me most likely will be next weekend or after.

I really hope they can launch the cluster units first before the SPA signing though...   

Can anyone share what is the density of EcoHill?

A quick comparison between dsl units.

SEH presint 1: 600 units
EM Cradleton: 600 ++ units

Comparatively about same amount of units.

Now, who could enlighten the exact size of Presint 1 for SEH and EM Cradleton? For me it's more or less about the same... Perhaps Cradleton has more space for the mini park/landscape in within, maybe will have a little bit lower value in terms of density..

Road enlargement to the site seems almost complete, already have walkway in between and some plants in place.. two lanes each..

It is located between the third and fourth traffic light. It is not completed yet. Once it is complete  in August, there will be a new traffic light. The 700 meter straight road is still under construction as shown by Samkor photos. The team faced some boulder during the construction. By now solved liao.....
