QUOTE(atreyuangel @ Jul 5 2014, 02:16 PM) DSA hari tu daa, unfortunately dia tak bagi tangkap gambar How the spaces inside gooding or not?I was a very rare chance, because it was quite late and then to see the rear ramp is down, so we asked politely if we could sit inside so the person is nice enough to give the permission |

QUOTE(ben_panced @ Jul 7 2014, 09:51 AM) Yes comparable to standard block 52 though it will still have slight reduction in performance against the standard block 52.After all it uses an old airframe block 25. They will get additional 6 more airframe "4 block 25 and 2 block 15" as spare part resources. |

Well the proposal of having 50:50 ratio between peninsular wont be cheap for operation cost.
probably it will eat up few hundred million of dollars. More base or bigger base will be require to build in borneo the military probably will ask to increase the military personnel to 150k as well. though i would welcome to have such ratio. so now come the question will the government and opposition agree on more budget for the military to support such ratio distribution? Between pakatan suggestions wont be enough to improve the security conditions at sabah. This post has been edited by yinchet: Jul 11 2014, 12:46 AM |

QUOTE(KYPMbangi @ Jul 11 2014, 12:53 AM) Setting up a 5th divs in sabah is ady a huge endeavour, and also the planned marine corps That y they can suggest all they like it just end up with talk kok.True, no money no talk, increase security without appropriate funds is illogical, they think soldiers can survive on blood and sweat alone? They can suggest forever, but no such mp in pakatan would support for the idea of expanding the defence budget, I say again NO ONE If they suggest 50:50 ratio, sent 20-30k of soldier to sabah and sarawak. Then what logistics and base will be a big nightmare. that not include the soldier family that will be going there as well. rotation basis of 20-30k infantry no longer make sense as well. All these need money. |

QUOTE(alaskanbunny @ Jul 11 2014, 03:12 PM) true also.. i believe 70:30 is just right... most assets are in the peninsula Ns turning into conscription? do u think militarizing the NS would be a good idea? is upgrading or selling 2nd hand an option? Yeah y not. it would at least better than the current summer camp. I also prefer those student with bad discipline problem to be force into conscription rather than having to be drop out ended as criminal. upgrading condor nah no thanks. 2nd hand? Is there any1 selling good and high tech apc in the market currently? I doubt so. Cheaper and short term alternative I suggest lmv evico though it was not apc but it will perform better than our condor though it have limited weapons system available. |

QUOTE(alaskanbunny @ Jul 11 2014, 03:32 PM) only afraid once after grad they would use their new found skills n ability for -ve activities like terrorism, crime... etc etc Nah make compulsory for them to join military.i mean we sell our hardware as 2nd hand to others.. for sbh i believe a vehicle that can travel on mud n holes with armour to protect against rpg n or 12mm will do... pinoys are not heavily armed right? which is better rather than having them to be rempit or joining gangster. Serve the country rather becoming troublemakers. I see not sure any1 would want to buy condor. lmv evico would be perfect to operates at sabah. |

QUOTE(KYPMbangi @ Jul 11 2014, 11:18 PM) Decent, but like all other armies in south east asia it is still under-funded and under-equipped, pretty much a defence army Imo, malaysia is lack of passionate and enthusiastic menhan and government to put malaysia military on top gears.Only singapore is fully-funded and fully-equipped for any action in this case, only to make up for their lack of strategic defence depth during dr.m times military were getting lots of stuff. too bad we always hit by economy problem and songlap cases. |
