Some ppl even able to purchase multiple order. So before complaining, they should to question themselves if their technique is good or not. if there are people who didnt pay, there will be released units time by time, at random, so keep an eye on the site time to time

i think the camera snap quality depend on the app processing, if the lens is good enough, so google cam might help

Not sure about other phones but my SGS2 last time, I installed custom camera firmware fix, and I never turned back to stock.

But I use IFTTT to upload to Box & Flickr, those pics i use to make photo albums for friends & family.

Edit & compressed from photoshop for example is way better than compress from phone.
If only the phone saves pic in RAW, then that's super awesome

But the problem is xiao mi emphasizes that its camera is a Sony made 13mp camera which take great photos.  So we naturally expect the camera is as good as other top tier smartphones.  Moreover a pro photog doesn't really need pro equipment to shoot stunning images.

Nowadays smartphone camera is really good, especially under adequate lighting.  The videos recorded by my Note 3 is much much better than my old miniDV Sony camcorder few years back.
