ok, done playing with mi3 for a few days since Saturday. Remove the sim card and did a hard reset, giving it to my sister this coming Sunday as birthday present. Back to my good old Note 3. biggrin.gif But will keep 2 PB for my wife and myself. thumbup.gif

Performance is on par with Note 3 but the screen size and S Pen is deal breaker. Maybe i can accept no S Pen but screen size definitely need to be at least 5.5" but not big until 6.0" like XU. doh.gif

If Apple come out with an Iphone with 5.5-5.7" screen, i might even try it. blush.gif

I dont know whether Xiaomi really sold 5000 unit last week but highly possible.

I got 2 Mi3 myself, one for myself and another for a friend. I also got 2 powerbanks. I have another 2 FB friends who get 2 Mi3 for each of them. Thats already 6units in my small circle of friends. I know some people who spam click but never proceed to buy the extra units that were in their open orders but the numbers that are buying are highly unlikely in the hundreds. 5000 PBs only 2500 orders if everyone took 2 presumably.

I can only say, if you cant get it, try harder next time. Dont complain its a gimmick. Dont blame the scalpers.

You dont need to point to RM10 pendrive offer from Tesco. I personally go and queue for Samsung Galaxy Note3 Neo and I saw it for myself only 4 were sold, the extra 16 vanished in thin air. I would complain to Samsung because they allow their dealers to undercut consumer. As for me personally, Note2 is my last Samsung ever for a very long period of time until this grudge subsides.

haha.. very true. It is really bit of luck and your internet and computer speed. Just now, I tried buying 2 PB at my sister's office with slow internet and slow computer, after I click on the Buy Now, it take ages to load the next page and eventually time out and boom.. all gone. But i manage to grab 3 sets of mi3 last Tuesday with a fast computer and an average streamyx line at my office.

So no need complain it is a scam if you dun manage to get it. From the loads of users' photos of the packages at Fedex warehouse, i think few thousand orders is not really unrealistic.

you haven't got what you want?

No need to look at them if you are not interested. This is a free market, they can price it whatever they want but i doubt ppl will pay high price for it.

can't blame you but this is the normal procedure. Alternative way is to use another credit card, eg. your family member's, etc. After click pay with paypal, it will direct you to paypal but instead of login to paypal, key in your credit card info there at paypal site without login in. I din try this method but i think some manage to pay with such way.

But the problem is xiao mi emphasizes that its camera is a Sony made 13mp camera which take great photos. So we naturally expect the camera is as good as other top tier smartphones. Moreover a pro photog doesn't really need pro equipment to shoot stunning images.

Nowadays smartphone camera is really good, especially under adequate lighting. The videos recorded by my Note 3 is much much better than my old miniDV Sony camcorder few years back.

did you check the packaging box of your mi3 thoroughly? It is in a small pamphlet just underneath the mi3, not outside the box.
