QUOTE(ooikl @ May 28 2014, 03:38 PM) by looking at the quality of the product itself, its seriously value for money. How to check if earphone original or fake? sound quality wise, very subjective, i used to have cheapo headset, so after trying this, i feel great.... the bass macam "ada umphh".... QUOTE(lawt2845 @ May 28 2014, 04:26 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(andrekua2 @ May 28 2014, 04:37 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « You dont need to write a long article about this plot. I dont know whether Xiaomi really sold 5000 unit last week but highly possible. I got 2 Mi3 myself, one for myself and another for a friend. I also got 2 powerbanks. I have another 2 FB friends who get 2 Mi3 for each of them. Thats already 6units in my small circle of friends. I know some people who spam click but never proceed to buy the extra units that were in their open orders but the numbers that are buying are highly unlikely in the hundreds. 5000 PBs only 2500 orders if everyone took 2 presumably. I can only say, if you cant get it, try harder next time. Dont complain its a gimmick. Dont blame the scalpers. You dont need to point to RM10 pendrive offer from Tesco. I personally go and queue for Samsung Galaxy Note3 Neo and I saw it for myself only 4 were sold, the extra 16 vanished in thin air. I would complain to Samsung because they allow their dealers to undercut consumer. As for me personally, Note2 is my last Samsung ever for a very long period of time until this grudge subsides. Definitely possible to get 6000 units ordered within minutes considering the purchase power of average malaysians anyway. and secondly, i have direct source with my friend in FedEx (not dispatch guy tau! QUOTE(mydragoon @ May 28 2014, 04:27 PM) errr... sounds dangerous... i mean... how we'd know its unstable? when it fries our phone? by then... reset PB also pointless... heh heh... Safety features, always to have even if not really sure what for just i find it funny to have this. i was charging phone and pressed on it. seems like phone was still charging. so, not really sure how useful is this. |

QUOTE(kennethkee93 @ May 28 2014, 09:41 PM) Even it has the overcurrent protection, it usually cut the power charging at around 95%+, it will charge slowly if you notice it. When you say that, yeah i noticed that too.If you keep charging even at 100%, it charge again when it drops from 100% to 99%, then repeat the cycle, this will stress the battery. So the best solution? On another note, just clocked 2 hours & 15 minutes of charging from complete 0% to 100% using powerbank. I used a stopwatch to measure time. Compared to charging if turned on, it took more than 3 hours to charge from 0% to 100%. 1 hour difference wooo |

QUOTE(noobandroid @ May 28 2014, 10:04 PM) a little read about modern battery and the charging system, and why leaving overnight charging is not bringing damages: I think sooner or later someone gonna post a DIY video how to replace the batteryhttp://phandroid.com/2010/12/25/your-smart...ch-a-bad-thing/ Or someone already did? QUOTE(zhiyuanchan @ May 28 2014, 10:06 PM) How the heck you managed that? Mine everything on also managed 12 hours max.. |

QUOTE(noobandroid @ May 29 2014, 09:48 AM) if there are people who didnt pay, there will be released units time by time, at random, so keep an eye on the site time to time QUOTE(noobandroid @ May 29 2014, 09:49 AM) i think the camera snap quality depend on the app processing, if the lens is good enough, so google cam might help Not sure about other phones but my SGS2 last time, I installed custom camera firmware fix, and I never turned back to stock.Lots of difference So yeah, as long as there are updates to the system, there's always room for improvement |

QUOTE(nickchk89 @ May 29 2014, 09:55 AM) How good u guys expect a rm889 snapper to be(usually just 8mp)? Like someone really cari makan with photography, if that the case might as well go buy proper shooter QUOTE(noobandroid @ May 29 2014, 09:58 AM) yeah, i wonder why ppl obsessed with phone cam quality, when they are only uploading it to fb and whatsapp and instagram, where images will be compressed so high that empire state building looks short Me me..Well not really cari makan la.. But I use IFTTT to upload to Box & Flickr, those pics i use to make photo albums for friends & family. Edit & compressed from photoshop for example is way better than compress from phone. If only the phone saves pic in RAW, then that's super awesome |

QUOTE(nickchk89 @ May 29 2014, 10:04 AM) Yeah, agree Agreed, for normal usage, the camera is more than enough. If exposure and saturation level so concerned, just buy dslr Mi3 camera sample from forummer here look ok ,no really noisy like xperia z camera unit If one take photo from a smartphone ,mostly for own sweet moment or share through social media,mi3 camera capable more than that. Even the 13MP also no one would really use it unless you're printing bunting or what |

QUOTE(noobandroid @ May 29 2014, 10:11 AM) the extras like HDR etc is 30 shots trial, after that only pay, a way to try after 30 shots is uninstall clear data, reinstall, or use tbackup to backup and restore to loop the 30 shots Eh..trial is for hdr, high res panorama, moving object shots and group shot, others free to use Not bad la the app.. Need a bit of tweaking but really, not bad.. |

Eh..
We're still talking about camera eh? Sooner or later the improvement fix will come, but since i came from SGS2, so how bad Mi3 is, still lots better than what i hoped for anyway And my 2A Samsung chargers just arrived. Tried it out, was dissapointed it was charging like a 1A charger (500mA-600mA). Then i changed the cable to use Xiaomi's PB cable, and voilaaa, it's taking in ~1.2A now.. So yeah, cable size & types make a difference. |

QUOTE(SnoopyDevil @ May 29 2014, 02:33 PM) this is my understanding on charger and cables: Partially correct i guess.1) charger type, yes, you can tell the output of how much A 2) USB cable, yes too, but you can't tell physically. normally i'll just ask if i can transfer data with it. if yes, means it support higher A output Both cables can transfer data, just that the one with the charger was slim type, whereas the PB cable is thicker & wider Most likely the conductor thickness inside insulator matters |

QUOTE(droidtrix @ May 29 2014, 03:02 PM) Thats whats I emphasis here, after all it is just a phone. For RM889 value phone, the cam are already good, furthermore it uses same Sensor used in S4 and Xperia Z..I am not complaining Just to put into perspective,If you even out the scale, even DSLR also have it's range of quality & prices. From RM1.5k to RM22K DSLR.. C'mon people, don't be one of those guys who buy a Proton but expect a Mercedes quality |
