When do you guys usually play? Its kinda hard with no usual friends playing it.

just got the original version for 39.30

can i ask, why is it that almost everytime i start the game, with the original dvd in the drive, they ask me to log on to the their online service?

i just wanna play single player

It's their copy protection.

Either login to RO,or play with the disc in the DVD ROM.

guys..what time u all play? im using celcom broadband 384kb. speed ok la in the morning.. im play in early morning between 830am to 12pm. almost every day la.. tomorrow morning also play.. but today is very sad day for me.. playing australian guys. losing 0 point to 30... very2 near.. anyone playing in the morning... maybe we can playing together.. add me in YM : chekuchak@yahoo.com or my id in relic (masteryie).. always joining singapore city channel.. who is his id name is BEGINNER? add friend in relic but never has chance to play him...

Lol, too much alcohol for Jonny Ebbert. Eager to see them get back to their Homeworld franchise , but that would mean CoH would take a backseat. And can Essence engine handle 3D environment? (lol, at the bribing).

If CoH detects that you're connected to the Internet, you're forced to log in to Relic Online. And you don't have to insert yr disc to play. Easy.
Offline or plug-out yr cable, and you need the disc.

You mean you can play in the morning? I can join you then.

How much is the ping?

Im also using the useless celcom bb.Cant play shit at night.In the end,wasted other people's time.

No offences.. but Morning,afternoon or evening.. doesnt really do much significant difference on improving your latency.

As long u are running wireless internet.. You will have tendency to have high ping..

Tips for improving your multiplayer COH gameplay

- Make sure you have all the Bandwidth for your game.. stop all Downloads, you tube, surfing and picture downloading.

- Try to ping to 142.169.113.3 before playing to check your connection.. If you have timeout then reconnect.

- For your computer, try to set the settings a little lower than what your PC is capable of, Online COH is actually more taxing on your computer than single player.

- Try to make sure all the needed ports are open.. Having the proper ports actually do help in your game connection

- 1 vs 1 games are definitely having the lowest likehood of having laggy games.

- Whenever possible.. try to find SG/Malaysian player in Singapore Chat room for a game as local player are less likely to lag.

- Stop using wireless internet.. Wireless is not the path for hardcore online gaming.. nuff said.

It's not that i want to use wireless internet.

I had shifted to a new place,2 years ago,and TM never give me a phone line till last month.It's actually just a simple wire connecting the phone line from my house to a line right outside the house.They took 2 years to give me that.Now,applying for Screamyx and they just keep on saying the line is not ready yet.Same shit again.

Gawd knows when i can get my Screamyx.

anyone knows which port does coh use? is it 6112?

ps - the game use 2 method of anti piracy method - first it will check online by logging to relic online - which is the best method as it will allow NO CD needed to play and second ( only if you do not have internet connection ) , checking the DVD disc

So even though you have the DVD in the drive , it will still go through online checking first

and after we borh learn the game , maybe we can play online as there is where all funs begin !!!
