Ah, dilemma, S2740 vs U2913wm. any reason i should go for ultrasharp U2913wm ? Mainly for movie.

No I just dunno whats the differences between normal and ultras series since the ultra is kinda more exp. Was planning to get this U2913wm, if I can turn it 90 degree like this http://www.inf.u-szeged.hu/ipcg/ipcglab/do...CS/front_90.gif . So i can watch movie while slp on my side on my bed haha.

Sorry for a noob question, is there any reason to go for ultrasharp series? Since most of the normal series also IPS panel.

LCD Monitor thread is not as happening as it used to be~
used to have so many discussion in a single day, but now 1 month only have roughly 2 page of discussions(Or less)

 

Consumer PC sales is shrink down, I guess nowadays ppl eyes looking at smartphone and tablet are much more than home TV and Desktop Computer. even gaming console also put aside or collecting dust at home, so many ppl surrounding playing COC at everywhere

Any suggestion for 27" monitor? Budget around RM1100.. Mainly for gaming

are 27 inch, 29 inches monitors too pixelated for 1080p movie watching purposes? i may be looking for a 29inch for movie watching purposes, but are these overkill for 1080p? Any recommendations will be cool, thanks

Has anyone used U2715H? How is it?

Spoke to Dell sales and was told that U2713HM is not being scheduled for End-Of-Sale (EOS) so there's still chance to own one of this fine babies. It may be based on older technology but it sure is more affordable compared to U2715H.

That's right. Likewise, a 27" like the one below can get a good 60" TV also.

Guys,I'm torn between Dell U2715H and Dell U3415W.

I do think of getting the Dell U3415W but scared hard to adopt to the 21:9.

Anyone has any experience on 21:9 that could share?

I searched around google for few hours and saw mixed postiive and negative with the 21:9. How about you guys?

After 2 weeks of using it, I'd say I did not regret picking it up. The screen size fits nicely on my desk. Compared to my previous Viewsonic LCD, desktop is now wider with excellent colors reproduction. The only complaint that I have with the screen is the slight bleed on the left side of the screen that is quite negligible unless I'm running a dark desktop or game. This is going to last me for the next few years until my next upgrade. Hopefully by then 4K/5K and 34" will become more affordable, and I'd have a bigger house for all my toys.
