Can I ask you what is the length of your roof (from your wall) ? Is there any support for the concrete roof other than the side panel?

I'm planning to do a similar roof design, but my contractor told me the roof can only be 1 feet (unless it is a longer piece of concrete slab extending backwards - and much more expensive).
