Try run Antutu Benchmark in Performance mode. Xiaomi Mi3 is referring to TDCMA while MI3W is WCDMA

Ram usage up to 1.2gb is normal after you turn on your phone for awhile, services like whatsapp and wechat does take some of the memory.

Hi, please put the prefix on each and every contacts to avoid conflicts. MIUI only reads the incoming call/messages in international format. You may use Number Fixer to bulk set the prefix for you. Hope this helps.

It will not wipe by itself, you need to do it manually. It's preferably to wipe data and cache when you switch between stable and dev rom to avoid data conflict and crashes.

Stable rom doesn't have root access but you still root it manually by flashing some files.

Developer rom has root access to begin with.

Definitely worth it, just that the storage size and without expansion slot is the cons of MI3. Otherwise, you'll get a better chipset, snappy CPU, GPU and ram size, better experience in gaming.
