Hi all,
I've lost patience with forever delaying zenfone 5 in malaysia so decided to switch back to xiaomi (planned to buy xiaomi hongmi in the very first place then got distracted by lower price zenfone). Now back researching xiaomi, I've listed xiaomi hongmi note and xiaomi 1s as my choices. It seems to me that the major difference is the processor, camera & ram. Is there anything else that I've missed? Will the processor difference produce great difference on the phone? Am I correct that xiaomi note's camera is better than xiaomi 1s due to the MP? I'm actually finding a dual sim phone with good camera (good as in point and capture coming to sharp photo, fast enough to capture photos of my doggies also when they're moving). And of course, the phone should be responsive enough. Is there anyone here who's nice enough to advice me on which to take? Thanks in advance! This post has been edited by vit: Jun 8 2014, 10:23 AM |

QUOTE(vit @ Jun 8 2014, 10:17 AM) Hi all, As a photography Enthusiast using dslr and plenty of external lighting and lenses to capture moving kids, i advise you to forget abt moving subjects with any phone as of 2014. Maybe in a few years phase detection auyo focus will be available. So take that expectation out n make decision. In fact even when this feature is out, test it thoroughly bcos even in this day many semi pro dslrs promise this but few actually work well enough. Edit : of course you can spray and pray some shots actually nail but all phones can do that.I've lost patience with forever delaying zenfone 5 in malaysia so decided to switch back to xiaomi (planned to buy xiaomi hongmi in the very first place then got distracted by lower price zenfone). Actually what's the influential difference between original official set & AP set?
I was actually thinking to just grab the AP so tired of waiting already.. . |

Photo won't be blurred just cause my dog moves a bit at the very second the photo is captured. I guess maybe it requires fast photo capturing? I'm not asking for very good one I'd just be happy it's capable of capturing good pictures (not blurred due to moving) in maybe 8 of 10 of my photo taking trials under the RM1k budget. |

I think only the LG G3 OIS+ tech combine with its new Laser focus tech can shoot movement photo. |

Burst mode in H3C camera can meet you requirement. Can shoot like machine gun. I think easily more than 10 shots in 1 sec. |
