Hope this is in topic, actually I think of doing a proper review of Mi3, and in fact I got the nvidia tegra 4 version. Waiting for the snap dragon version to do proper review of comparing both performance, gaming and battery life. One thing bout the mi3 is can set mode like our pc and desktop, performance, balance and power saving. So far with power saving, battery life seems very good, and less heat. If set at balance and performance play mp4 full hd video also will feel hot on the back of phone. Well, I bet everyone is waiting for their mi3, so lets wait meantime I guess. N so far my status is still preparing for shipment, I think they ship direct from China in a big palette, then fedex or ups will sort it out. Well unless anyone in fedex or ups can confirm the stocks r in fact at Malaysia ? and it's up to fedex and ups to sort out the items in boxes and deliver to us ?

Hope, so, but actually I never fancy silver, so plan to do quick review, use few days then give my bro or dad if I never like the colour, else hope the bundle leather case can cover it properly. I edi got redmi, mi3 tegra4, so kinda like a xiaomi fan LOL. But so far both unit is working well, no big issues yet, just some reboot and shutdown due to I play with overclock and downvolt to save battery.

Btw thanks for the info, if confirm monday then need to tell whoever is at home to help me receive it. Actually kinda worry it might arrive today.

I guess those who just buy bundle mi3 or mi3 only, will get their tracking and shipment earlier, I bought bundle mi3, and 1 extra leather case. Paid 12:11:49pm 20th May 2014. Till now still processing, guess they need to do special arrangement. Anyway sum poison.....





Remember to set power saving if u want your battery to last. 1st day using I left at balance and end up bout half day already gone 70%. This pics is todays usage, so far quite good compare to note1, note2 but if not wrong I think note3 is still better in terms of battery. But I notice my wife charges her phone almost everynight.

Should be 1A same as redmi, I never open the original Mi3 charger, just use sammy 2.1A charger. But I did notice redmi gets abit hot but charged damn fast, Mi3 from 5% charge to full less than 2 hours mebe 1.5 hours. Do try to check on the temps of your phone during charge, it might damage ur batt n board if the ampere of your charger is too high and no regulation or auto cut off but I believe it's up to the phone to do these works as I charge both redmi and mi3 same time, both cut off once reach 100% and both using 2.1A charger.

So I guess those who juz bought phone will get their shipment earlier, probraly this week or next week. While those who bought bp, bundle, or extra stuff will have to wait till 28th or maybe later ?

Actually wanted to ask that dude doesn't look local.

Sigh, then how did they sort the shipment ? Don't tell me by our name ? Anyone wif Surname or Name starting with "A" can confirm ?

I try to take pic n post once I get home, got 3 or 4 sammy charger from note1 to note3. I prefer these as they can charge my sammy to 100% those generic charger sum will get stuck at 99%.

But I notice nowadays alot of generic good brand ones like targus,kensington, belkin, have their ampere higher, 2.1 instead of older spec 2.0. And I am sure altho sammy write 2.0 it's actually 2.1 as it can charge my old tab 7.7.

I am actually waiting for the xiaomi piston earplug, wonder why Malaysia had lesser choice, lesser accesories.

Btw Just got my tracking number bout 18:54 22nd May 2014 they update. So those who didn't get can update d i think but no tracking in fedex yet.

Must compare using miui coz note3, z ultra, altho same hardware, but with miui is reli big diff. Score also will be abit higher, it's lighter n less resource hungry. Wonder y in order list they put fedex but my transport is 1ZAYXXXXXXXX so UPS rite ? Nothing from there beside World EASE, 22/05/14 n 0.7 kg n To Malaysia.

Hmmm, I bought things overseas b4, use ups and fedex both very reliable and accurate. Fedex write 7 days arrive within 4 days. UPS also same 7 days within 4 days as well. So got hope arrive on monday else, tuesday.

Actually don't need to worry much, unless ur home or the address u put don't have anyone to collect, else just go on as normal. My case diff, I put home, sometimes nobody at home, so I worry they go back, and UPS I don't think got office nearby my place.

Btw, anyone got good case, or sp intro ? My current tegra 4 version, I find the screen w/o any sp very trouble coz after I talk on phone, face oil stuck then when try to touch screen n stuff, will be affected by the oil. And back also same, very prone to finger oil I guess.

Wah from shop or lyn ? I try to find at LYN but just sum cases only. Actually need to warn u guys, mi3 if naked is very prone to dent n scratch. Especially if put in pocket and walking around in packed areas. Even charging at home, if u use cable which is too heavy, it might pull ur very light n thin mi3 and drop it.

Maybe I am used to big n heavy phone, Mi3 feels very light. Almost drop out of my pocket once, and ter swipe it out of table when I clean table.

Actually I hope on 27th the 6K mi3 will be from Sg or MY instead of China or HK. But I guess unless they divert the stocks from SG to MY it will ship this way for awhile.

Hmm lucky I am old paypal user no issue with payment straight get from funds or cc. Those who didn't manage to buy 2nd using paypal might need to talk with your banker, usually our CC will lock if they see funny purchases. I bought things by using paypal above 5K they will straight lock, some will call to ask for verification, others need us to call on our own. Diff bank have diff customer service. Some bank even RM 50 will lock and won't process till we call them up to confirm. Konon to protect us, in fact is quite good, just very troublesome if purchase 1st time.

If no delay, I assume our mi3 using UPS should arrive at KLIA by 9pm tonite. But dun think they can clear on saturday.

So tempted to go for a china trip just to get mi3 accesories, my friend at Beijing told me xiaomi got lots of accesories not even shown on internet. Things like those "big name" bags and stuff design, pure leather, pure metal, carbon fibre. But funny tho, my friend is not a fan of xiaomi, he more into "fruit".

Only if they can break up the parcels then I will be at customs to collect. But since it's in a palette, nobody can touch the items beside fedex or xiaomi Malaysia. Maybe those ship by fedex have chance to get on saturday, or monday if their status is edi at KLIA waiting for customs clearance.

I try to convince my friend to help me source "real leather" if u go to shenzhen, they actually have shops which only sell phone accesories and only "real" leather. And dun forget those sales girls But kinda pushy sumtimes.

The burn method works, but seriously, do you dare to burn at those big branded shop at Pavillion ? KLCC ? But at ShenZhen juz burn, max only rm 10 ? 20 ? Even RM 50 to burn if need to pay it's much more less vs those leather bags.
Just wonder y nobody bulk leather case nowadays, cost ? Or design ? I am thinking of sticking the ori leather case on those alu or pvc case then only install it. Altho most say it's safe to stick n won't peel the paint, but I still worry.
