I read before the different engine oil at Honda SC, but can't find the thread/post back...
Something about green fluid is what etc. What is the engine oil rating used at SC? 0W30 or 0W20? I guess it's semisynth? Can upgrade to full synth?

QUOTE(ProX @ Jul 9 2014, 10:45 AM) I bought mine from WestStar. They allow to use Credit Card to pay booking fee (RM500) and also up to RM5k downpayment which is a big let down for me. I wanted to collect points/cashback using credit card because i put 70k dp Wah lau...orang kaya...pay so much DP for car....IMO, it's better to use that money to buy property and pay as DP... Just my 2cents lah...if you already have 10 properties, probably wont be bother lor... ..

QUOTE(ProX @ Jul 9 2014, 10:58 AM) I didnt want to pay so much on interest since car price depreciate. I took 20k loan 1 yr only. Don't think any bank will want to do but I took staff car loan (i work in a bank). Staff car loan is on monthly rest interest compare to the usual car loan [loan amount x 1.0xx% (interest) x tenure]. Dont want to deviate out of topic much but i will touch abit since you brought it up. Current rules make it harder to go with property investment - higher gain tax and 30% DP on 3rd property onwards. And...I don't have 10 properties la..more than 1.. less than 5.. Wah lau...orang kaya detected! Anyway current market prevent more flippers, but mid to long term investment is still ok...Property price can only go 1 way, which is up, just a matter of faster or slower. QUOTE(bounty_hunt3r @ Jul 9 2014, 04:28 PM) So nothing I can do? So I will have to go even it is only 6,200km mileage? If I go at 10,000km after few months passed the date, my warranty really will be voided? Thanks Yes, just go lah. Fuiyo. You want your engine to die issit?? This is normal pratice. Good for your engine. Engine oil degrades regardless you use it or not. After 6 months, its time to change.

QUOTE(bounty_hunt3r @ Jul 9 2014, 04:21 PM) Hi guys, I would to ask, I am going to my 10,000km car service soon. But my car still haven't reach 10,000km, it is only 6,200km now. But the date that the Honda service center gave me is 12/7/2014, they told me, whichever date or mileage reached first, you should come over for your car service, if you do not go to car service on 12/7/2014, your warranty will be voided, is that true?? My sister said her Nissan don't have this kind of rules at all, she only goes there whenever her mileage reached, and no problem at all. Is that true Honda having this rule? Thanks guys Nissan dont tell yoy so that you continue to go there for service and they make money. When you have problems and want to claim...then they will tell you your warranty already koyak-ed.

And i just receive Honda Sales Satisfaction Survey. My SA request that he will complete it not me. Reason if i rate him low he could lost his job. In fact my SA really janji tak ditepati, a lot of free Petrol, free tinted, free gift end up nothing till now. Even drag till 3 months to deliver the car. So should i just complain teruk teruk one dlm survey or let he do it Cannot let him fill lah...your SA really bad...put his name and photo in FnF and tell everyone to avoid him. How come never give service booklet? I bought all my cars all got booklet on day 1. Your free stuff, forget it lah...you aint never gonna get it. QUOTE(tboxmy @ Jul 9 2014, 05:32 PM) Went to see City 2014, and it was a pleasant surprise. If anyone have positive/negative about the new City 2014 please do share. Most of the youtube news are the India models only and didn't reflect what was in Malaysia. Example no sun roof! The grade E and V was of most interest, but not as cheap as Almeera or Forte. Forte RM99K. Forte KX(KanaXai-ed) also RM 90k...almost same price with V-Spec. Almera of course lah...only got UFO donut in the HU for the high-spec...can only compare with City S+ only. QUOTE(Adrain87 @ Jul 9 2014, 05:29 PM) I just received an SMS from Honda Malaysia asked to summit an survey and redeem an eService Voucher value of RM40 ( Honda Sales Satisfaction Survey) So cheapskate..RM40...RM400 more like it lah... QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ Jul 9 2014, 05:28 PM) What I know this queries is fume with cheating la I ask my SA as well as Honda Service Centre they told me as long as your car is reached 10k mileage, then only go for service. If you are those who drive less than 1k in 6 months, how to service the car in which your engine oil is still in tip top condition? It is waste of natural resources and not environmental friendly Dun talk shit if you know nuts. Engine oil degrades...and warranty will be voided if you dont go to SC on schedule...either your SA cheats you or you're a moron. My Inspira only hits 6k every 6 month...somemore i use Fullsynth...i go service as per schedule. "Engine oil in tip top condition after 6 monhts"...LOL,...you took out the engine oil and test in a certified lab is it??

QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ Jul 9 2014, 07:21 PM) OK. Since you claimed I'm talking nuts. How about those continental car that go for service every 25k miles? Will the engine oil be degraded and engine will breakdown and warranty void? I'm the first user for Honda car and rules and regulations will not be clear for all this... Stupid fcuk. The maintenance schedule for all the cars are clearly written in the websites. Ok, don't service your car, EVER. See if we care. QUOTE(tboxmy @ Jul 9 2014, 09:49 PM) Whats TT? They do bring some colour to the forum. If there was polling option here we can then see who is leading. Knowledge is power, internet makes perceptions. Yeah? That was the last i am replying to that moron. Let's see him whining when he gets his car and after 1 years engine busted and came here whine again because void Honda's warranty(because never go to SC service) and whine about how crap the City is and how he should have bought an Altis. We just wait patiently for the day. This post has been edited by Matrix: Jul 9 2014, 09:53 PM

QUOTE(toycarsmy @ Jul 9 2014, 11:06 PM) Just replaced the low beam and fog lights to Philips Extreme vision +100%. Great improvement for low beam, but not so for fog lights, Very little. The color is the same just added brightness and more density, it throws very far just like the marketing says +35 meter. The car came with Philips bulb on low and Osram on fog. Both brands are made in china. Swapping the bulbs will take you not more than 2 mins for low beam, you can access passenger fog light from engine bay, but driver side need to open 1 screw and clip from banana leaf. If you swap out the head lights, just replace the fog Osram bulbs you got from Philips. In my opinion it is better. So this philips extreme bulb can be use for the main headlights? How much is it? Am thinking to change my Inspira bulb coz it doesnt throw very far.
