probably cv joint. check for tear at that rubber protector on the cv joint. if its tore than for sure ur cv joint.
I better check it out then. I thought the CV joint is the most likely culprit.

if hentam pedal to floor, only can go up to 150km. Clean throttle already. change air filter to mushroom. add in voltage stabilizer and multiple ground cable to alternator and body. -VE 4gauge cable to alternator.. still fuel guzzling.
i think it is my aircond condenser dragging the car... anyone with EJ DE here can share experience.
oh yeah, mine is auto. L2 gearbox 4 speed.
could be the gear ratio?? i dunno .. Use to own a kelisa auto before. Fuel was not this bad.
Anyway, very syiok bila tarik. Main 60 to 80km .. potong with confident.

ED DE is 850cc right? manual or tranny auto? what if i redo exhaust piping and extractor? will it make any different?
journey a day.. home - office - home is about 60km. in 3 days have to refill again. damm.. that is too much for a kancil. Even my alza is not fuel guzzler.
What if downgrade to 660T, JB or EF series? Still can enjoy power and fuel optimization? any one with experience here please share.

same here. driving auto also. left mounting. mine lasted for a year only. dont get cheap imitation mounting. go for ori. at least will ast you 3 years.
Not sure about that. Engine bay head ok? If mushroom type I'm always wary of the placement. It might suck in hotter air. Your FC

I think 660T downgrade might be a wiser choice.
Only auto is available for ED-DE. Kelisa 850cc engine. Mine is the highest spec Kancil with skimmed alloys.
TBH, I think 4AT is more efficient than my zaman kuno 3AT. So I doubt that is the cause. More likely it's your AC compressor. Used Denso or a more powerful aftermarket one?

Dear all,
My kancil 850 aircond is not working at all. When I switch it on only air is blowing. Before it fails few weeks ago it will have this click click sound when I switch the air cond on or switch between ECO mode and AC mode.
Went to a workshop and they found out that the pipe is leaking gas. No gas in the system. And they mention that the compressor is not good anymore. How do I know whether it's just the pipe leakage problem or should I also change the compressor?
I mention the Vitara compressor and the workshop said it's not good. He recommends me a Denso compressor used from Japan. Is that a good one? Price quote to change to that compressor and the hose that is leaking is around 500-600 he said. Is that the normal price?

Feel so broke..

Been there, done it bro. Except my AC condenser kong ady. RM600 gone.
Changed to recon Denso compressor (380), expansion valve (80), receiver drier (60), Bando aircon-belting (30), cleaning/servicing/flushing systems, refill compressor oil etc (-/+ 60). Thankfully cooling coil is in good condition.
Now cold af. No more loud clicking noises. Car also runs better. More pickup liao.
