Thought it was only me

Guess there's something going on with Unifi connection(?) I noticed ping tend to spike up around 6 pm onward till 12~1 am or so. I could still load webpages normally but my Skype and League of Legends keep getting signed out/disconnected :/

Singapore homes will soon get access to 2Gbps fibre broadband, the fastest residential Internet speed in the world.

The 2Gbps fibre broadband is undergoing limited trials with a select group of customers from now until the end of the year, "and will be commercially available in early 2015", said local fibre broadband operator ViewQwest yesterday.

Japan was the first and is the only country in the world to enjoy such speeds when Sony-owned company So-net introduced its Nuro 2Gbps fibre broadband plan last year.

"The key benefit of this new fibre broadband is getting more bandwidth to the overall household," The Straits Times Online quoted ViewQwest's head of marketing Wilbie Poh as saying.

"Households today are multiple-device households, with personal computers, laptops, tablets and mobile phones.
