wadthehellzUpdate to the latest firmware and see if you got the VLAN tagging feature like EA2500. Else you will need to use the existing router as a VLAN switch. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2790320/all

QUOTE(aaron_lwm @ Jul 29 2014, 12:22 PM) Hey Guys, I've got a bit of a tough choice here, I'm looking to replace my lousy L7 unifi router and looking at a few alternatives. Basically, I've narrowed it down to the Asus N16 and Asus N14UHP. Any users/sifus want to provide their experience or point of view? Both are within my budget, and I'm looking for something reliable. Thanks in advance! cheers! N16 is better than N14UHP Get at least the N56U if budget allow, 2.4Ghz is very congested nowadays

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Aug 10 2014, 11:06 PM) what is homeplug ??? just search about it, something like wifi range extender but what are their difference yet, the homeplug require connect the LAN cable, but my router put at parlor (middle of the house) while I decided to put the homeplug around 20 feets (less than 10 meter) from the parlor get this homeplug or wifi range extender ?? *prefer the one that doesn't require me to plug in LAN cable as my parents hate it No, homeplug use your existing power cable in your house as connection. Router > Homeplug THEN Homeplug > PC

If you guys browse China site frequently, get Singapore / HK VPN to standby Both are having good connection to China especially HK.

QUOTE(ck50 @ Sep 17 2014, 09:51 PM) Haha. Good luck with that. Anyone who is having luck with a decent VPN? I did some searching on forums and got BolehVPN but I'm not so sure about it... Also I'm not sure how it will help if the internet pipes are causing the bottlenecks. Very interested to know why VPNs will help if the transatlantic links are down... Try FinchVPN SG server
