yeap no joke, 9 months until backing plate.
around 10k or even less than 10k km.
genting downhill almost every time fade, got 1 time fade until got smoke and totally no brakes (lol only the drums work, and rear braking a? woohoo fish tails~) had to stop road side karak for about 30+minutes to let the brakes cool. the wheels were smoking for at least 5-10minutes.

not to mention it raped my rotors so much i had to skim it, heart ache to see the slots being shaved thin.
never again.

my greenstuff costed me RM250
+20GBP shipping for single pad is additional rm100 which i obviously didn't ship a single piece lo. and despite that, it's still around same price, if not still cheaper than local price.

then there is their oem replacement which MANY people commented that it is pretty much same performance as greens except it's temperature threshold is a bit lower (and mind you, people still brake till glowing red disc and claim no fade ya), and it produces more brake dust.

and that's assuming you're shipping ONE brake pad all the way from UK. you go find people bulk and share shipping, 20GBP split by 3 people/pads you only need to pay rm33-35 shipping.

(FYI greenstuff is only rated to be around 400-500 celsius, yet many nutcases will whack until glowing red disc and still claim no brake fade anyways)

prior my personal experience, got a lot of people ady posted similarly bad experience which i ignored because eh, the owner is actually a nice guy and to be fair he contributed a LOT on our local grassroot motorsport scene.
especially the ones where people claim OEM pads are better, which i just dismiss it as people just trolling/bad mouthing for no reason.

after my own experience, i'm convinced :/
but yea, after EBC, never look back again.

it's not that i look down on local brands, but when you get shit like that (JTX anyone?) flooding the market with a ton of sheeps/zombies supporting them, can you blame me for being biased? i don't have the time to filter out a gem among the sea of rubbish.

ya lo, so as an informed consumer i don't need to buy locally ma. my advice (if you're seriously considering EBC) is to buy from brakes4u (UK) or if you're only buying 1pad, or 2 pads with 2 separated shipment, buy from amazon.com (USA) for cheaper shipping/conversion rates

you get freshes/updated pad versions for much lower price than local.
by updated, give you an example:
greenstuff has already updated to version 6 or something, local one is like ver2 or 3

there's pad material separation issue which is annoying especially it makes sound when you're NOT braking. newer ones are updated with hook type backing plate/better pad material, not to mention they got free a pack of copper high temperature grease, noise reduction anodized aluminum shims, and all ebc brake surfaces are coated with brake/bed in coating material to help aid/speed up bedding in process.

all the above are NOT available for local iswara (and wira) ebc greenstuff. and their current stocks are so old the entire pad is full of rust. they give huge discount of rm70+, but that's based on their overpriced pricing

for my second time, because i needed to get track level pads for my inspira as well as i am gearing it for Sepang, i went straight to UK from an EBC recommended dealer:

as i have posted to titanrev on the url/pricing, you may opt for EBC ultimax if you're not too concern on aggressive touge/track days, and don't care about brake dust.
it's RM10 more expensive than female sanitary pads
probably cheaper if you buy from amazon usa, or find 1-2 more kaki to share shipping.

then you start praying that your shipment don't get taxed (mine evaded, refer above image LOL!)

anyways, do take note even EBC greenstuff are NOT rated for 550 celsius ya, only the nut cases here brake till disk glow red and claim no fade so take their words with pinch of salt ya
only their yellow stuff are above 500c, blue in the 600-700 and they are not street legal.

oh ya hor, iswara inherited from lancer fiore/colt

but eh you try email them, if possible provide your existing pad specification (size, shape, picture also welcomed) and they may inquire with EBC directly

but anyways i was on RS 550c, and my highest rotor temperature never exceeded 450c, so that's that.

further EBC isn't as premium as everyone thought it to be, mainly Malaysian distributor pentagon jacking the price and dealers/sellers further marking it up a notch.

if you have a credit card, do consider ordering online for much better savings
for the record i never left foot brake regardless of auto/manual, i'm just not used to it
