Hi, may I know whether PBB Visa Signature has 6% cash rebate for purchases at 99 Speedmart and Pasaraya Hero?
*
since both hlb wise and pbb vs also based on mcc 5411 for grocery, i can say that 99speedmart and hero both entitled for the 6% pbb vs cb (i never tried on pbb vs but i confirmed received in hlb wise).

Forgot to ask about Econsave. Do you think the 6% cash back applies for Econsave as well?
*
again, if based on hlb wise, yes econsave too. smile.gif

QUOTE(vfoong @ Apr 6 2015, 11:08 PM)
Anyone had any success getting this card via pledging fd? I  went last week and I was told that I had to pledge a minimum of 34k in fd. So I filled up the forms etc and as they were processing the fd, they told me that in order to pledge, there's stamping free on the pledge amount, which was rm5 for every 1k, which means it would amount to rm170. After that I just told them to cancel the whole transaction... Wasted an hour + of my time...
*
i thought i already mentioned about this back in december 2014?

QUOTE(victorywp @ Dec 22 2014, 07:26 PM)
pbb revised some rules already:
1) minimum fd pledging is rm34k, no longer rm30k
2) credit limit is 90% of the fd amount, no longer 100%
3) stamp duty rm5 for every rm1k fd pledging amount, no longer rm10 stamp duty for the whole process

Currently Peranakan Place - Nu Sentral is not listed under Dining MCC.

It's under MCC5499 - Miscellaneous Food Stores - Convenience Stores and Specialty Markets

I've called in to ask PBB to "re-instate" my 6% rebate as I can proof it's a Restaurant.
*
if they allow this, means they are not based on mcc anymore?

i have 3 successful cases too, as long as I am able to prove that the places are restaurants and the receipts stated meals
*
so it's better than hlb wise who fully based on mcc only.

Not working with Firefox too. Now I can't view my acc as I have exceeded the 3 times deferment.  vmad.gif

no worries, just call their cs and you can get back your log in page again immediately.

there was few rounds i forgotten my password, and i keep trying (every 3 times and account locked and called cs to unlock and tried again and got locked again). cs said they unable to reset my password as i need to do that at the atm. so what they can do is just to unlock for me to try again. lol... i took few hours just to try and error my password, and called to unlock once locked. not sure it was the same cs handling me, he must be bored to hear my voice. sweat.gif

haiz yesterday got email say got rejected. dun knw wanna appeal anot ..... can pledge FD to get the card ? anyone knw how much ?
*
pledge fd to get a pbb cc (especially pbb vs) is not worth:
1) high stamp duty 0.5% of your fd amount (min fd of 34k for pbb vs)
2) and you not sure when pbb will end its vs 6% feature

the worst case will be pbb ends their 6% cb in the following month after you paid the rm170 stamp duty. inability to earn back from cb utilisation, it simply means that you paid rm170 for a useless cc and have a 34k stuck in fd in a pbb branch.

that means i have to pay RM170 for Visa Signature application? Once i pledged, i can't use the FD at all?
*
yeah, so it's better to apply directly if you qualified for pbb vs.
