+3kk!ariffdudeariffdudefreakfingers12 I got this guy selling off his 2009 -2010 MIM Standard Strat HSS Rosewood Neck for 2K but from the pics, rest of the body looks ok except minor rust on the fret/strings. No warped neck... What should I ask/look before finalizing the deal..?
standard strat for 2k? well first of all you should ask him to lower the price. my 2012 strat is rm1450.
I had buzzing issue on low E string when I bought my Epiphone LP 60s Tribute Plus just last 2 weeks. Adjusted the truss rod to push the neck outwards (From player position) to give it more space, and also noticed that I was strumming too hard on the strings, as I am a newbie electric guitarist coming from an acoustic background. Voila, problem solved.
Now I got a new problem, guitar is freaking heavy lol. I only noticed it after 30+ minutes of playing, hurts my shoulders. Anyone has any good guitar strap recommendation ? The shop that I bought the guitar from had only the cheap 20 ringgit strap that did very little to distribute the weight.
Super duper comfortable. Bought from Dead Eye. It's a Levi's leather strap.
unfortunately the fire doused by the pussy admin. reminds me of someone else from before in JT that got flamed alot that he got his mommy to come interfere and threaten JT with lawsuit... haha.
Still ongoing man. He resurrects his old photo and shared it on jamtank in an attempt to save face. The guy must be using magic la, shoot himself in the head many times but still not dead.
Yeah remembered that guy too. That guy was a real pussy.
haha everdying, I didn't even notice you. Or maybe I forgot how you look like.
But seriously, the guy was just insane. I thought his shredding was great, but the way he was explaining all those expanded chords was even crazier. I play major minor only, feel like an ant compared to him.
And not to forget his philosophies were the ones that blew my mind.

Not NGD, maybe 2 weeks already. Just wanna keep the forum alive, plus I didn't tell anyone because don't want my friends to know. They will say things like "why the hell do you need so many guitars" or "woah banyak duit, bila nak belanja" or "wei pinjam satu guitar".
Just a jackson pdx, made in India. Good enough for me, EMG 81 85.
everdying will just call you a tan sri and bug you for life
People here can understand if you say things like 5 guitars is not enough haha. Plus they will encourage and entice you to buy even more guitars. No la my guitars are all cheap, only a custom shop Gibson will earn me a title of Tan Sri from Everdying.
Always wanted a V, there's one on my list but.. hmm this economy...Zzz
second hand is the way to go, i mean only if you don't mind scratches and dings. mine looks like the previous owner's sweat is made up of hydrochloric acid.
i think i'll bring a dunkin donuts box and ask him to sign it.
for those who dunno...throwback to when pantera made fun of malmsteen
Hahaha he and Axl Rose don't eat donuts
Edit: Ok I take it back, seeing Malmsteen live was the best night of my life. Holy shit man I cried when he started to play Far Beyond The Sun. Sure he's a little sloppier now, but to have that energy of running around the stage at 55 years old, it's just amazing. Good thing I brought my earplugs otherwise I would have gone deaf.

dunno if it's confirmation bias, but I notice more and more people are going for the digital route. Using kemper and axefx instead of tube amps. And multieffects instead of big pedalboards.
Even I've sold all my tube amps for a blackstar id core20. it sucks compared to my old Krank but it's not like I use it much anymore. Maybe it's just the simplicity that appeals to me.
well, this kinda stuff a decade also already got ppl doing...cept then it was stuff like line6 or toneworks etc...then just plug straight into PA. then on the other end, u still have guys like man kidal - with his pedalboard and small marshall amp - playing the negaraku live
can't teach an old dog new tricks. I wonder whether those guys with those huge ass pedalboards do any deadlift training to gain a strong back to carry that heavy load.
