act no, it feels cheap and looks like it too, maybe it was the lighting

it was a good guitar, but when i held it and played it something at the back of my head tells me no. and the gas just switched off just like that

i was prepared to take it off him there and then, normally that doesnt happen
*
Maybe too much lacquer till the neck is uber sticky.

nice right?
a departure from your normal teles.
*
Very nice.

I wonder whether there are guitarmakers that come out with neck-through or set-in neck Teles and Strats.

I've only encountered Spear.

Alright just changed pots and input jack to my chaplang guitar.

No sound coming out from the strings.

Plugged in to the amp, turn the vol n tone all the way up, there's only buzzy sound.

No buzzy sound when I turn the vol or tone knob all the way down.

Where could the wiring glitch be? hmm.gif

hmm.. maybe double check if the wirings correct? sounds like the grounds are wired in reverse or something like that. Check on the jack wiring, see if you got it right or reversed.

you have a multimeter to check if the pickups and switch are ok?
*
I do not hav a multimeter here right now. Should get one. :sigh:

I'll try to reverse the wiring on the jack and update back.

Thanks for your response.

Anyone felt this before?

GASing incredibly hard for new gear, then proceed to play your own for 3-4 hours, fall in love again then no GAS anymore .

Reminded again why i love this guitar so much <3
*
Because grass is always greener on the other side, and when u're on the other side, u realized that it's just grass. Only greener.

Why S-S guitar is the least famous/uncommon guitar today?

Most are H-H / H-S-H / Dual P90 / H-S. We rarely see S-S.

QUOTE(+3kk! @ May 29 2014, 05:04 PM)
well it is a single coil

and i think builders if want to do a 2 s.coil guitar also turn to the tele shape cos it be classic

anything else will be like a SSS gibson LP
*
It is, but it's not single coil like the one I meant.

Dual P90 can also be considered as SS, but that's not what I meant too.
