On a hindsight, Hendo's red card was a big impact on the team. We lost the zest in midfield. His energy is second to none and Lucas is just not AM material.

Anyway, hope Villa will not just make up the schedule tonight. Drop points for City means title is still alive. Win for City means last game a must win for us and a draw will do for them.

OK back to football. I believe 60M handed in to BR due to CL qualification right? Why about domestic prize money?? Imagine if BR didn't qualify for any Europa competition. How much he will get? My question is he allow to spend more than 60m pound to strengthen his squad?

We need to bring in quality defenders. CL means more money but also more games and stress. More injuries too. Spend wisely to beef up the bench. Sell wisely too.

Next season, I do hope to see more playing time for Alberto, Suso, Borini and Ibe; at least in cup games.

Wasn't impressed with Caulker. But he can do a Hendo.... smile.gif

We have pressing need for good solid defenders. LB and RB has always been our weak point. How I wish Hyppia-Henchoz partnership never ends....

I AGREE TOTALLY.

Financial penalties do not hurt as much as docking points.

This is the most effective means IMO

These are mega rich clubs. Fine them money? No problem. They just dish out a cheque book and that's it. Dock them points are far more effective or even banning them until they follow the rules.

Their sponsorship is so fake. They own the club, they also own whatever companies that can then pump in a lot of money to the club as 'sponsorship'. They have a lot of lawyers that can look for loopholes in whatever regulation set by the governing bodies.

Liverpool winning the game against Newcastle + West Ham scoring a late winner, surely i cant deny the power of bookies tongue.gif

That would be insane! rclxms.gif

Anyway, whatever happens, at the end of the day, the team with the most points deserves to be crowned champion regardless on how they are bankrolled. I'd say City did what we failed; that's to keep a balance attacking play with some solid backline.

We may critisize Chelsea for parking the bus but the onus is on us to break them and we failed. Against CP, we imploded in 10 min. Our backilne just panicked and lost the plot when CP got 1 back. Also I think we were naive to think that we need to score a lot just to bring down the goal difference. Points first, then look at goal difference. That's inexperience.

It has been a fantastic ride this season. To go from 7th to where we are right now speaks volume to the team and BR's work.

The title race is virtually over but hey.... one more game to go and until the final whistle..........ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!

YNWA!

GJ is like our invisible defender. Colo got past him so easily.
