I think it would be silly on our part if we sell Suarez on the cheap just to get rid of him. I hope our Americans would be wise enough to hold him until the price offered would be judged from his contributions in 2013/14 season, not solely by his action in this World Cup.

He did come back and help us qualify for CL while scoring 31 goals after a similar ban last season. For me, his price should not be affected by what he did recently because that's how he is.

If we can't sell him at the price we wanted, so be it. He will still be a world class footballer despite his antics. I don't mind another 31 goals and God knows how many assists. Just don't get caught in the emotions and hype. The club's reputation will count for nothing if we won nothing and return to being a mid-table club. I know some of us are angry, but should we all just calm down and don't rush into a decision.

Suarez's ban on ALL footie matters is just farcical. It happens on international event, ban him by all means on international matches. Why drag the club into this?

I'm not defending him as a player, he deserves what he got but man...... FiFA is bending so much to satisfy some other agendas. They're playing the man, not the ball. English press will rejoice.

FIFA should have give him a hefty fine. 100k Swiss Francs is less than a week wages for him. Its nothing for him. The fine money then can be use for charity.

Plus there should also do something to help Suarez such as anger management classes or etc. Imposing 4 months bans its not going to help him. The one who paying the price is our club. I saw some reports saying we might consider legal action against FIFA not sure if there is any truth on that.

Four months ban is okay. We need him, everyone knows this. And when he returns he will come in guns blazing. You all know it.

Should Barca comes with an offer of 40m + Sanchez, I'll take it in a heartbeat.

honest speaking...I think better we sell as for his worth now.
I am not sure he can tahan the media after this. Those media will have a sensation time grilling him.

Ref in UK also gonna have a field day with him.
Last season, he proved by playing all out but to do that now with all these surrounding I would say , I take the 100M.

my feelings.

Release clause between 70-80mil. Thus no 100mil

If you saw our EPL fixtures for coming season, you will notice our match against ManC, Tottenham, Southampton and Everton. I wouldn't call Tot, Sou and Eve our title rivals, but they can derail our season real bad if we lose against them. Thus, 4 months isn't ok since it's 12 points in total.

His guns will be rusty from the full 4 months break. Imagine no training at all too. We need a real good replacement, someone like Pedro, Sanchez and Shaqiri.

I'd recommend trading Pedro + Sanchez = Suarez + 10mil.

Well, he can train himself. I am sure Liverpool will send trainers to his house and train outside of Melwood. Well from last experience, he came back after his 10 match ban and whooped everything...ahahha.....

as for Chelsea's case during 2008 Olympics, the player got 12 months' from all football related activities, but the club appealed and the ban was only applied on international level and not club level

....but i'm don't think that the player commited a recurring offense sweat.gif

This summer Steve Peters might had a tough job for Suarez's mental rehabilitation.

did liverpool fine or punish him anything in ivanovic's case?

liverpool show him a support in evra's case. were a laughing stock in my eyes.

thats what club pay this time.. theoretically liverpool got 'punish' way more than uruguay (more games). for offense committed in tournament that liverpool nothing to do.. and fine to suarez is small to what he'll earn in 4mths 'vacation'.

the club should fine him and allocate the cut to better use.. might piss him though..
