is there any recent precedent that players getting ban for committing an (football) offense, while representing their country, and the ban extended to club football?

suarez may get long ban, but whether fifa want to extended it (can they?) to domestic football or not. the outcome may benefit livevpool (if they do not interested to take action against suarez themselves). free international commitments, fresher suarez will be..

harsh for lfc, but im (as fan rival) happy for the verdict. exceeding to what ive expected (impacting lfc games)

ban to the whole next world cup campaign, higher financial punishment more appropriate, eg a 2 months salary donate to charity or something.

did liverpool fine or punish him anything in ivanovic's case?

liverpool show him a support in evra's case. were a laughing stock in my eyes.

thats what club pay this time.. theoretically liverpool got 'punish' way more than uruguay (more games). for offense committed in tournament that liverpool nothing to do.. and fine to suarez is small to what he'll earn in 4mths 'vacation'.

the club should fine him and allocate the cut to better use.. might piss him though..
