QUOTE(prophetjul @ May 6 2014, 09:24 AM) And I suppose you're gonna say that we can still win it right? Villa and West Ham are gonna do us a favour and do what virtually nobody has done at the Etihad? Or we're gonna score 15 past Newcastle? Get real man. It was ours to win and we slipped up. We couldn't deal with the pressure. Add to that the uncertainty of next year and what happens next? |

TP were spot on with his subs while BR made the wrong decision.
I believe everyone is blaming Johnson but for me he was tired and should have sub out long ago. Its not easy to play attack and defence for a full 90mins. At the start of the game he was the one on the right side who is running to empty space where he almost scored twice where our striker were all tightly marked. |

QUOTE(prophetjul @ May 6 2014, 09:48 AM) Erm, I asked what the team heard during the huddle, not what Gerrard said. We're all fans here like it or not, and if Gerrard messed up (which I'm sorry if you haven't noticed, is not what I said), then he is not exempt from criticism, same as everyone else, regardless of his contributions.I know this is an emotional time and we are hurting, but please refrain from cannabilizing your own fans. Everyone reacts differently, so keep that in mind. Edit: and you asked if we really need this now? we need a friggin miracle that's what we need. Guys let me put this into perspective. Before the CP game based on reputation on paper we were already out of the title race. After the game we are out even further. Nothing much changed

The problem is BR alone. Leading 3 -0 away from home you should have parked the damn bus with 10 minutes to go. Instead, he brought Moses in! Should have brought Agger / Kolo to beef up the defence with 5 def at the back. I hope he learn from this match and never repeat the same mistake. I hope you all agree with me on this.
Besides I feel that we urgently need to find better RB and LB. Johnson is not the same old Johnson we used to see. Flano is a bit slow IMO. What we can do now is to hope that MC to lose 1 match to stand any chance. I hope they will slip up. |

Agree that no one is exempted from criticism but the huddle meant to remind the lads between themselves that there are more games to play for, not for showboating or folks to laugh at him when he falls. Other classless/mindless trolls from other clubs, I got no comment, but come on, lets us not joke bout it when others certainly did not heard "This is gonna f***ing slip up now!" from him...I know this is an emotional time and we are hurting, but please refrain from cannabilizing your own fans. Instead of hoping city to lose, we might be not able to win the game against Newcastle now.....I don't know how the player can pick themselves up again after these 2 games slipped....Such a heartbreak
It's time to wake up....back to reality & look forward to next season CL.....We're not going to do a happy ending fairytale afterall..... |

Anything can happen to MC's last 2 games, you'll never knw. Ball is round... who would have expected Man U to lost to Sunderland |
