What exactly is Pi?

The Greek letter Pi [ ] is used, in mathematics, to symbolise the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. It is commonly used to calculate the area of circles and the volume of cones and spheres.

The value of Pi is a constant and has been determined to be approximately 3.14159. For more accuracy, you can download a value of Pi calculated to 32 thousand decimal places.

The lower the calculation, the faster your PC.

what does the error 'not exact in round' means when running super pi? I always get this error...

it means not stable...either your cpu, ram or both

The RAM timings are 4-4-4-12 using Corsair XMS2 DDR800 (55512). vDIMM is 2.0.

MoBo is Gigabyte ds3 f4 bios. It really is extremely picky with RAM.

That's the highest stable speed i can use for gaming right now. Too bad i didn't have any artic silver set on the heatsink. Using Intel stock. Gonna get some this weekend and see if there is an improvement for heat.

BTW , anyone here knows the stock voltage for an e6400?

On air..Ultra 120 but I think I'm having IHS issues or something cos the temps are just crazily high once things loads up. Too scared to add that extra bit more of vcore.

My chip idles at 58C, so I guess yours is not too bad. It doesn't throttle til it hits the 80s.
