i think there's a lot of alternative of shaw, and will save us more than 50% shaw's cost. that will filling a coffer to buy a better cm.

hope herrera rumor is true. he's not a world beater not even in spanish squad, but got potential to be one. we are so desperate for cm.

carvalho did well yesterday, despite the poor result and only played 45min. we are not linking to him anymore, and i think i love his style. both overprice but i think both can be a success.

Carvalho cost even more than Herrara

With Kayu, overpaying players is a norm. I don't recall David Gill splashing out insane sums for players who have yet to fulfil the potential. Shaw I can understand because he is English and already a certain starter and went to the WC too. We paid 28mil for Rooney back in 2004 when he was 18 too.

But Herrera for 31mil? Sorry. Overpriced. He is pretty much average from my perspective and that 31mil, better we bid for Vidal/Gundogan/Khedira because these are the players we need, not another attacking minded CM. It is time we get a DOF!

I would say Berbatov was overpriced. We seriously need a good DoF. At least Chelsea can get someone to pay 50m for David Luiz

i know that. herrera are about 30-32 mil gbp while carvalho are about 37-38 mil gbp. both overprice and the price are basically fix point /minimum release fee. no room to negotiate /haggling since both clubs no desperate to sell. we definitely get the players if we willing to pay.

do u actually watch atheletic bilbao? 2, 3 games? he's not totally an attacking midfielder. im not saying i following them, but based on his game against us 2 years ago, he's a cm. he was actually sat deep in both games. he was poor on early half of last season, but hit a great form at 2nd half of the season according to many. but not good enough to outshine the likes of koke.

vidal? he got a better choice by staying or moving to spanish giants. gundogan? his fitness are suspect and already extended his contract. khedira? only if real madrid want to sell (good chance if they get vidal /release alonso).

we can aim higher, but im afraid it'll be like last summer.. i optimist with lvg. if he really want particular players, woodward should get it, whatever the price, as early as he can.

I've watched a few of his games but he does go forward and most of the time hanging around in the middle in a game, and also what formation Bilbao plays. The most important aspect that we need of a CM is a defensive mindset CM, something like a CDM. He does not live up to his price of 31mil, I can assure you that. Fitness can be trained/regained. No issue, just need to dedication and passion to do so.

Khedira is possible if RM gets Ramires or Vidal. But of course my preference would be Vidal. Experienced, strong, hardworking (attack/defend). Carvalho interest fizzled out already ever since Moyes was sacked. Ideally, Matuidi or Veratti would be a good choice too but PSG won't sell neither so.....

MU has one of the worst transfer team working in the background. Look at Bebe and Zaha. How much we overspent on them.

Actually I do rate Herrera but just not at 30 mil gbp. He helped Bilbao reached the CL. Considering the challenge they faced and losing Basque based players such as Llorente, Javi Martinez, it's no small feat to make it to CL.

Well, I personally believe the purchase of Bebe had an ulterior motive, but that is my own assumption.

As for Herrera, I haven't even heard much about him or seen him except that he is linked to MU. For 30M, I really feel nervous about that.

Anyways, we all really need to take all these rumor mongering with a bucket of salt.
