You can read more info on the GW Bonus Pack here. You can only get the GW Bonus Mission Pack if you spend USD29 or more in the Online Store between 12 p.m. (Noon) PST July 5, 2007 till 12 p.m. (Noon) PST October 31, 2007. However, once you have gotten it between those times, you can access the missions any time. In hindsight, your previous purchases before the aforementioned time will not count towards getting the GW Bonus Mission pack. Since GW:EN is being released on the 31st of August, you can buy that from the online store and you will get the bonus mission pack for free. Sorry for not replying earlier but I had to check out some details.
Yes e-club will be bringing in the prerelease packs for those interested. Similar to how Anet is handling it, if you purchase the prerelease pack, it will be deducted from the cost of the GW:EN retail pack. Of course you need to keep the receipt for the prerelease pack.
Right now the prerelease pack is in the middle of the sea and there are still some things that need to be decided before we officially announce the details concerning the prerelease pack and also GW:EN.
On another note, the GW Hero Battle tournament scheduled at Blaze City CC this Sunday has been postponed to the 29th of July. Hopefully we can get more turnout. For more details on this, check out www.asiancybergames.com website.

If I am not mistaken, Arenanet is not making a CE version of GW:EN.
The Prerelease packs will be sold straight by us or from retailers.
The idea of an event for the release of GW:EN is under discussion.

From what I have read so far, GW:EN seems to effect GW:P only because it uses the same landmass (ie Tyria). However, storyline-wise, its a continuation of events after Factions and Nightfall. Since we know only the main storyline of GW:EN, we do not know for sure if the events in Factions and Nightfall won't tie in with GW:EN as well.
The Prerelease pack of GW:EN is unique. Other than what it offers, its priced at RM 149 here but you get the main game as well when it is released here this August 31st. Which effectively means that the prerelease pack is free!
Regarding the hero question I am not so sure. But since Arenanet themselves said that you just need one of the campaigns to be able to play GW:EN, I think you are able to use the heroes in GW:EN, only not the heroes in Nightfall. However I could be wrong about this.

QUOTE(yitjuan @ Jul 26 2007, 01:58 PM) yay! i just started playing last week a question: why don't miniatures do anything other than look cool? do they even make sounds? i got a siege turtle as a gift and apart from looking rad , it doesn't do much. Actually if you are not looking, they will jump kick a monster in the groin! I KID YOU NOT!!! Unfortunately, mini pets are just a glory item and they are just there for looks. It would unbalance the game for it to do anything else.

QUOTE(yitjuan @ Jul 30 2007, 06:24 PM) ya, i was thinking of Earthshaker + Aftershock , but with the AI nerf (all the mobs run away when you PBAoE) ... is still viable? will the mobs run away after you Aftershock , or will they still turn around and whack you back? The question you should ask yourself is "How can they run away from you if they are on the ground?" Which is the main reason on why you earth shaker them first. If you want to concentrate on individual monsters, devastating hammer and heavy blow is nice.

QUOTE(yitjuan @ Jul 31 2007, 10:09 PM) 1 more Q , Warrior's Cunning says melee attacks cannot be blocked for 10 secs , so does that mean that my Earth Shaker(being an Elite Hammer Attack) is unblockable ? That's exactly what it means.

QUOTE(biew1986 @ Aug 10 2007, 11:53 AM) So, that's mean if I play Assassin/Dervish, I can learn scythe mastery so long I meet the weapon requirements? It means that to get the possibility of your maximum damage of the weapon (be it from normal hits to a critical one), you need to set your attribute level of that particular weapon line to at least meet the weapon requirements.

Well usually the packages are sent earlier than the release date. Since the release is on Merdeka day for us, our office will be closed . So earliest that it will be available to retailers is Saturday and latest will be Monday.

Haha since everyone in KL will be getting the retail packs at the same time, it doesn't matter if you get it early or late since its better to play with your guild mates anyway.

Just a heads up to everyone about the status of the local retail packs of GW:EN. Due to some mixup, the arrival of the packages has been delayed. Really sorry about that but it was nothing that could be done. However, the packages are on the right track now and hopefully, the retail packs will be with the retailers in a couple of days. Sorry for the inconvenience.

QUOTE(sickboy @ Sep 27 2007, 09:35 AM) anyone know how to fix wif the game file it has increased the times to repair data archive . . . really pissed when the game just popped out to window and closed wifout any notice and start the repairing when i was heading out for quest wif my party @_@ No idea but safe bet would be to delete the gw.dat file and redownload it again with the -image command. Might take a whole day to do that. Otherwise, I am not sure. You can send a support ticket in the GW support site or ask around in the fansite forums like GWOnline or GWGuru.

Not as many as before. Since this game has no monthly fees, there's nothing forcing you to play the game every day other than your own volition. In addition there are a lot of new MMOs coming out soon or are already out.
