i chionging to 45/50 . The hardest part is farming money for Obs armor , I dunno how I'm going to do it.

Good thing is you can solo FOW nowadays with 7 hero update. Armbrace can be farmed in 5 runs.

Those points associated with money are easy to get imo. I used to powertrade ALOT earning 100-200k/day.
Got my obsi/vabbian armor for my Rit already i think 1k more points to finish sweet tooth title

i planning to buy guildwars cause steam has sale. few questions,

1. what is eye of the north? is it expansion? do i have to buy eye of the north too in order to play?
2. how does this thing work? i dont quite understand why got so many like trilogy, guildwars, game of the year edition, factions, nightfall.
3. i heard only have to purchase once right? no subscription fees
4. please advise what should i do after i purchase it. do i need to purchase eye of the north too?
5. how is the ping? is it good for malaysia to play? where is guildwars server based?

There are 3 Standalone GW games (Guild Wars, Factions and Nightfall) and 1 expansion(Eye of the North) . The standalone ones, you can play them right out of the box, whereas EOTN requires you to have 1 of the 3 games. Eye of the North is just a continuation of the original game. It features a lot of dungeons and is meant for the experienced player. The reason most people buy it is because it gives access to the Hall of Monuments, which is a feature that unlocks rewards in Guild Wars 2.

3. Yes, no extra charges after that. You do not need to buy anything from cash shop to succeed in the game.

4. My advice is to buy everything! Haha , you should try playing the games in the order they were released.

5. Ping is about 300ms + to the Europe servers, which are located in Europe. There is Asian server but it is located in USA cluster. Since the game doesn't require low ping to be successful, it's not really a bother. The game is instanced, which means there aren't any other players apart from your party in the explorable areas, so you can take your own sweet time to do stuff.

in your opinion which character is best to play? i just tried the trial version the sux thing is i have to download every map when i enter it. i made a warrior mesmer. dont really know much yet.
even the stats also i dont know which 1 to add so i add strength only

Assassin is the best class! Highest single target dps!

a Hammer warrior is pretty good in clearing the first campaign.

every class is imba , because PVE and PVP are 2 different things, and besides, there is easy and hard mode , so

idk i just made a elementalist/monk. quite hard to play with my ai party just doing quest and shit. no money to craft armor also

in your opinion which is the best server to play in? all the server i join is around 400ms ping at average. now i'm playing international

normally i use Europe since our connection to there is better. If experiencing high latency then I will not enter Kamadan AD1

But it doesn't really matterwhich server you play on since GW PVE is very forgiving .

after taking a break from uild wars for about 3~4 years...just bought EOTN from steam during the 50% discount...and now i'm experiencing ping of >9000? it's insane...=_="

well, i did achieve above 9k, and well, the other lag spikes lag last over few k's in general...swt...it even dc's me...=(

lets hope that it doesn't keep it up on other days...sigh

i have faction n nightfall >< duno wanna start playing back anot xD since i got ff14 running with me now

well, i guess it's just bad timing when i played gw just now...suddenly the whole internet system became slow and start to lag when i started it up...lol

still, it hovers ard 3XX~4XX ping most of the time, pretty rare for lag game breaking spikes

need to relearn the whole game as an old player...lol

ooh man, i've forgotten about my character name, cant login now T.T the security question sucks imo

i tried that before, and the thing that i forgot was a space in between my character names...lol

oh well, go ask/mail gwars support and they will provide you your char name...=D
