was wondering why there is no ISO-SPEED info of all the photos I take with the S31S ?

I use photoshop 7.0 to check the EXIF.

I think that is becoz in manual mode we have to set the shutter speed and aperture manually, the combination of these 2 settings produce the EV (exposure value)..

http://www.dcviews.com/tutors-t.htm?tt53414

not sure whether i got it right..
i too still learning in photography..

waiting other pro to give comments smile.gif

Hi All,

I'm thinking of getting myself a new SD Card for my S3.
Need a faster writing speed. Following are my short listed.
Can any1 give me advice on which is better?

SanDisk Ultra II 2G SD Card
SanDisk SDHC Ultra II 4G SD Card

I know "SDHC" is much more faster than Ultra.
However, I heard that when S3 using 4G SD Card, it will not able to perform/utilize it benefit/performance...

pls pls pls advice.....
*
Huh ? where u read that ?
AFAIK s3 supports SDHC for 4G and 8G smile.gif

but i would still get the UltraII 2G SD if I were you, cant really imagine all 4G photos gone if the card is damaged.

btw, i just got a normal SanDisk SD 2G for RM70, works pretty well,

i dun think S3 will need the high speed cards,
it is the camera that limits the writing speed, experienced it when I went to shoot MIFC last month with kingston elite 50X card.

Nope. It doesn't work that way. It's the physical size of the sensor, I mean pixel.

These is one of the photo taken at ISO80, look at the noise, I'm using S3IS.

I've never looked at the images at this detail since I bought the S3 months ago until I submitted a few entries to stock and get rejected due to artifacts.

totally agreed, on 100%, all my photos looks terrible, will need at least 50% resize to make the photos looks just fine.. sweat.gif

btw, all ur photos look very nice, cant wait for more photos if u start using DSLR.. thumbup.gif

because when taking fireworks, u set to long shutter speed, thus more processing is needed, that actually slows down the camera, and that makes u miss the fireworks..
