Not very well written as the reporter incorporates Kenanga research article (which is rather outdated) and that report was not too accurate at all.

Its cheaper to buy them outright and liquidate the assets, compared to keep feeding these ungrateful bastards.

This sentence is important. tongue.gif

While the company has not seen any interest from any institutional funds
, Chua is open to the idea of it, depending on the investor’s profile and rationale for wanting to invest in Homeritz.

Also.... Both Chua and Tee are major shareholders of the company with a 34.42% stake each.

Some of the poor statements...

It has consistently been declaring an annual dividend per share of 2.2 sen to 5.1 sen since 2010.
How Kenanga get 5.1 sen? tongue.gif

“Any retracement should be seen as a buying opportunity, as follow through buying interest could rally the share price towards its next resistance level of 82 sen,” said Kenanga.

Lagi koyak that statement.
Statement made based on (faulty) TA on 8/4
TA like weather report....
Old weather reports can be recycled one meh?

LOL!

Strange why the reporter chose to do a story on it right now since there doesn't exactly seem to be any new information to justify a story. Is it possible for the couple to have lobbied for a story from The Star to kindle interest in their company?

FT blog arguing that a property crash in China is imminent. I know that China bears have been sounding this alarm for years, but there is a lot of data in this particular post.

Coverage is justifable in my opinion.

As mentioned in the discussions here, this company lacks coverage.

For the past few quarters, profits have doubled when comparisons is made versus the same quarter the previous year.

Profits are growing at a fantastic pace.

On a trailing 12 months, profits is already more than 20 million, indicating this year should be a very good year for the company.

Yet not even the briefest note was made after its profits announcement in our news.

Does the compamy even exist?

Which also discussed, the lack of institutional funds invested in the company.

No coverage, no funds invested = underperforming stock.

So in a way, it is good to see an article on the company.

We now know how the bosses look like. tongue.gif

And from the article, we can understand this business does not require huge capital investment of plants and machinery.

It's just a nice profitable business.

Only complain is that perhaps the reporter could have done a better job. smile.gif
