I've just rooted the g2. Is there any app that can make the status bar and navigation keys transparent for chrome bowser and games?

Yea wanted to enable the 4k video recording and greenify. Managed to use lmt and remove nav bar. Now only not sure how to make notification bar transparent when browsing chrome.

No problems so far with gps. Maybe you need to calibrate it.

Don't know about Xda but I only see your 1 post here about gps problem.

No it won't be affected. Quite a distance to the sp, but I don't like bulky casings. The phone is already quite thick, add the slim armor will be anything but slim.

Disabling the navbar and using LMT now makes me able to use the whole 5.2 in screen, screen looks noticeably bigger now

it will drop but not because of G3, but because of hp prices drop naturally. G2 will stop production once G3 is out.

Haha good advise. Normally buy phone without depreciate is not possible, brand new models depreciate even more. We can't predict how much it's going to drop without knowing the new model price. If g3 sell at rm1.5k then g2 will drop more, if it sells at rm2000 won't affect much.

Surprisingly changing the location settings to battery saving works better.

Phone too big for me. Prefer 5.2 in current size but if can make it thinner.

Same here Snapdragon 800 13mp ois 4k recording, no point minor upgrade to g3. I'm waiting for ip6 see what it has to offer.

Can the firmware be updated for future LG upgrades after root?

I haven't flashed any rom, does that count as stock recovery?

I used ioroot 25 then flashed philz recovery. .

Haha ok thanks long time didn't do this since nexus 4 forgot all the jargon. Camera mod alone is worth it.
