QUOTE(pristine @ Aug 24 2014, 12:45 AM) QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Aug 24 2014, 12:47 AM) I meant use the out port on the side of the pump block like how a normal d5 is and not the face of the block, Sorry for misunderstand, now i get it. i didn't know it has different in terms of flowrate, thanks for the info. There is a difference in flowrate. Sorry when i meant case before was not refering to the casing but to your pump port choice |

QUOTE(azilazwa @ Aug 25 2014, 08:36 AM) u r using cable extender for the psu right? looks so clean from the front, but quite messy at the back. i guess thats the benefit of using big case. can easily hide all those cable. great build btw. 480 + 360 alphacool rad Yeah, using cable extender. Another advantage of big case is the side panel can close easily unlike my previous cm690 III i need to use alot of force To close it. |

QUOTE(pristine @ Aug 27 2014, 06:45 PM) I wouldn't bother. The noise isn't worth the temperature drop. And neither is the price. Yeah, i tend to agree with you, just refer to my lower 360mm rad which i use 6 SGT fan as push pull, SGT fan suppose to be very silent now eventhough i lower the voltage they are still noisier than sp120 at full speed You can try mounting the rad direct onto the case and fan on the inside. Careful with the screws as to not damage your rad. Same thing for the top rad. Rad direct on case, fan on the inside. |

QUOTE(hafdin @ Sep 11 2014, 05:39 PM) have you try other games such as crysis 3 or titanfall on full? by the way, how much does your rig cost? includes everything 480mm monsta is big, mine is only 60mm thickyup, i know computer parts has no tax. but, all my items are only watercooling parts. it is big and heavy. have you ever saw a 480 radiator 80mm thick? just only that radiator is heavy enough, plus i have another 480 radiator 45mm thick in that box. it is pretty heavy. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Oct 9 2014, 02:37 PM) thanks for the Just my personal opinion, even though Cosmo 2 is big but i think for WC the flexibility is not there especially if u want to put in a 480mm rad, might need some modding works, in fact i also quite like the design but due to the restriction i choose phanteks enthoo primo.not particular on coolant color, since the pc won't have window, and will sit at the bottom of the my table. refer: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « i'm thinking something along the lines of i7 5820K, bring it up to the 4-4.5ghz region and call it a day. graphics prolly a single 980GTX should be well within budget as i'm only getting cpu only, *MAYBE* an additional edifier S530D or something. |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Oct 10 2014, 07:48 PM) hmm thinking about it, wouldn't some liquid would still get trapped in the block regardless of how many valves you install, and upon opening the tubes and what not up for maintenance, wouldn't they just drip all over the motherboard/proc? Not asking u to install the mini valves everywhere, just add one in at the lowest point of the loop, for example i installed the mini valve at the pump top.Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Oct 10 2014, 08:06 PM) wouldn't you still need to flip/tilt the casing around to ensure a full drain or something? or perhaps tubing/vacuum/siphon is more than enough to do the trick? Of cos u wont able to drain the coolant 100% completely that is for sure, the coolant mostly will trapped inside the radiator, sometimes need to tilt the casing. Normally i will use a piece of dry cloth to guard the fitting which i want to remove the tube.hmm from google/youtube, looks like you won't 100% drain everything, and a lot of toilet rolls will be needed |
